[With one last agonised cry, the dragon falls heavily to the ground and disintegrates. The chains fall to the ground with a soft rattle, no longer wrapped around anything of flesh (not that the creature had ever been flesh). It's strangely quiet now. Mukuro is nowhere to be seen.]

[Hibari proceeds to absorb the dragon soul start retracting the chains - they zip back into the tonfa with a simple motion, before the skylark looks around with narrowed eyes. Hmm, where did Rokudo go?]

[The area gradually fills with a dense fog that restricts visibility. Areas of it will swirl, as if something is moving within them. But if Hibari goes to investigate he'll find nothing.]

And there's not just one pair of handcuffs there now. No, now there's too many of them to count, imprisoning that presence in a coffin of black metal.]

[A long, drawn out howl that can only be from a wolf rings out. From the fog emerge a pack of the animals, snarling, with flames flicker in their ears and at their paws. It seems they're box weapons of the Cloud attribute, but hang on - isn't Hibari the only one with that type here?]

The wolves feel like biting Hibari to death as well, and they leap to meet their opponent with snapping, slavering jaws. They might be wolves but they seem to slip away all too easily whenever Hibari tries to hit them, there one moment and gone the next.]

He sharpens his Flames, adorning his tonfa with flickering darts of violet - snap! A chain slices through the throat of one of the wolves, cracking through the air like an all-too-familiar whip. Next.]

[That wolf falls, blood pooling from its torn throat. The Cloud flames flicker and die and it seems as if that wolf was simply an ordinary wolf with the illusion of Cloud flames.

The rest are circling, still. And some grab the chain in their jaws and pull it taut when it whips out at one of their brethren again. Two others take that opportunity to attack Hibari directly.]

[Ah, clever. But it's not as if he can't bite back, even without his fangs. One of the wolves gets a new collar - a handcuff that chokes it to death.

The other gets the pleasure of having its spine broken by Hibari himself. It's not hard to break bones with a simple ax-kick.]
