[He wasn't expecting Izaya to tire of him so easily but he doesn't mind; he much prefers to be the one holding than the one holded. He strides back to Izaya's side, wrapping around his arm, and cocking his head to the side in mock confusion. He's not about to beg, too late for it anyway, but he's not letting Izaya go so easily either. He does the favor of whistling a different song, however. Izaya likes the Nyancat tune, right?]

[He'd half expected this reaction; he doubted Psyche liked being ignored any more than he did, and the double has shown a tendency towards clinginess when it suits him. He sighs and gives his arm a little shake, communicating to the other man that he isn't impressed with this rather than attempting to dislodge him]

If you're not gonna let me leave, the least you can do is stop making that noise.

[Psyche sighs but concedes. Honestly that tune gets old after the first ten seconds. He casts a look over Izaya before the devious smirk returns. Instantaneously he resumes the tune, only this time through humming. It's Izaya's fault for not being precise in his words, if you ask him.]

[Izaya sighs himself, casting the double a side-long glance and giving his arm another shake for emphasis]

Honestly, if you're gonna make all that noise you may as well just talk. At least it'd be more interesting.

[He stiffens at that because Izaya is, unwilling he'd admit, right. He shuts up, puckering out his lips. Without making sound, he grows quickly bored and takes a fancy to grinding his elbow into Izaya's ribcage.]

[Well, a return to the silence is, at the very least, an improvement on the infernal humming and whistling, and for a few moments Izaya is content with this; he can always fill in the space left by Psyche's unwillingness to talk with his own chatter, given that he'd quite accustomed to talking to himself, anyway.

And then quite suddenly he's being jabbed in the ribs by an elbow, the pressure making him inadvertently yelp, more because it had not been expecting than because it truly hurt, however. He'll be trying to push Psyche away from him now]

Don't do that, you little pest!

[Because Izaya would never do something to elicit an emotional reaction from someone, nope, you must be thinking of someone else... :|]

[~~Dear me, I must have been thinking about Hibiya. You know how he is with wringing emotions out.~~

Psyche's smile tugs at the elicited reaction. He resists being pushed away and shoves nearer instead, screwing his elbow just a smidge harder. No way he's about to stop now when Izaya is suffering to his satisfaction.]

[He makes another little sound of complaint at the added discomfort, and now applies some more effort to extricating himself from his double's hold, pushing harder and attempting to maneuver that elbow away from his ribs. He knows he should just ignore him, though he's also aware that Psyche's reaction could go either way; lack of a reaction seems almost as likely to provoke him reacting will]

I suppose you like the idea of decorating me with bruises, hmm? Well, I'm not so keen on it myself. Let go before you force me to retaliate.

[Psyche has to restrain a laugh at that -- the no talking thing at ends with any sound. He grinds one challenging jab into Izaya's rib as if daring him on. Go on, try it. He doesn't plan on losing at his own game any time soon.]

[He grits his teeth this time, having prepared himself for the possibility of further assault, determined to play Psyche at his own game now. Which means no talking - something he's not fond of, but knows it's quite within his abilities to do so - and also a return jab into the double's ribs with his fingers; if he's going to be sporting bruises than he doesn't see why Psyche shouldn't have them too :T]

[Psyche cringes but continues to dig his elbow in slowly and passionately. He doesn't much like that Izaya picks up the same tactics, especially ones digging into his ribs, but he just responds with further jabbing. He's determined not to be the one to call the game off.]

[And for the moment Izaya is equally determined, attempting to curve his body away from the increased pressure before jabbing harder at Psyche's own ribs; this is not the kind of game he likes, but if he's going to be forced into playing then he intends to give back as good as he gets]

[Psyche groans. It's not fun, that's for sure. He could do without an elbow making any contact with his body whatsoever, but he persists just for the mere sake of pride. He incorporates a flutter of quick, light jabs into his routine, hoping that will deter Izaya some.]

[A sharp exhalation of breath and he tries to twist his body away from those sharp jabs as much as he's able to, also aware of the fact that people are beginning to stare at them now. He's still not prepared to give in however, and he jabs harder, twisting his elbow as he does it in an effort to cause maximum pain and get his double to finally let go or even say something]

[Psyche cries with a powerful twist to his side but he retaliates with harder but just as quick hits, each one accompanied with a heavy huff. It's a lot like the mock cat fights popularized, only with nudging instead of slapping hands at each other.]

[They must look ridiculous, acting little better than children, yet this thought is not particularly prevalent in Izaya's mind as Psyche's continued jabbing makes him yelp and yet again try to twist away. Though it doesn't prevent him from continuing to retaliate, not at all, and this time along with another sharp jab he attempts to hook Psyche's ankle with his foot as they walk, intending to trip him, hoping he falls to the ground]

[Psyche falls with a shrill cry but he doesn't intend to go down solo. He grabs Izaya's leg by the knee and yanks when he falls. If that doesn't bring Izaya down with him, he'll tug and kick for however long it takes.]

[Izaya may be agile and stronger than his slender form makes him appear, but having a person of equal wight wrapped around his legs and yanking at him is enough to being him down. He tries to catch himself, but ultimately end up inadvertently yelping as he ends up in a heap on the pavement with Psyche half underneath him. He's already trying to free himself and get back to his feet however, finally becoming aware of how much attention they're drawing to themselves]

[He heaves at the added weight thrown onto his chest. For a moment the air is knocked out him entirely but the second he regains his wits, he grabs Izaya by the waist and pulls him back down like an anchor. He's determined to be the first one standing and until he can get proper footing, he has no qualms with weight the other man down.

He manages to stick with his no talking rule, only grunting out incomprehensible growls of pain and frustration more befitting of a certain protozoan.]

[Another yelp as Psyche's arms wrap around his waist and he finds himself being dragged down again, then he's quickly trying to disentangle himself, attempting to pry Psyche's arms away from him as he too maintains his the no talking rule.

The sounds the other is currently making do remind Izaya of that certain brute, and it leads him to attempt to once again jab his elbow into Psyche's ribs in an effort to silence him. He doesn't want to have to think about that certain someone on top of everything else, thank you very much :T]

[In their wrestle to the top, Psyche has to clamp his mouth shut before he shouts anything. It's getting to the point where the silence is bothering even him. It's not a problem when he does it but he doesn't appreciate the same medicine from Izaya.

Psyche aimlessly jams his knee anywhere it will connect. Where he kicks is hardly a priority at the moment, fretting more over the fact he can't tell if he's clawing at Izaya's fur coat or his own. He'd make a house cat proud with his clawing desperation but he's not very fond of the idea of ripping his own cuff.]

[The silence is now more than tedious to Izaya, given his usual preference towards being verbose, and this game long lost any of the slight appeal it may have had when they started, but he's stubborn and dislikes the idea of allowing Psyche to 'win'. Besides, it was the double who started it, so it seems only right to Izaya that he'd be the one to finish it.

Then Psyche's knee connects fiercely with Izaya's abdomen and momentarily robs him of his ability to breathe, his own attempts to move briefly coming to a standstill beneath the scratching and clawing of his counterpart. He'll be moving again in a moment, just as soon as the pain recedes just a little and he's able to catch his breath, but he's doubtlessly providing the other man with an opening just the same]

[Keen on seizing any opportunity to pull the informant down, Psyche coughs nearly in Izaya's face instead of taking a moment to gather his breath. He starts to throw his entire weight into every swing, mostly because it's easier to throw himself at Izaya completely than try to hold him down and then strike. Their struggle isn't the most intense battle he's fought but Izaya is a formidable opponent and he's never been one to actually receive most hits. He whines with the next fling, endeavoring to pin Izaya down for good.]

[It's hardly what Izaya would call an arduous battle either, not by any standards, and yet all that flailing and swinging is incredibly distracting, and at close range having someone who's weight must be equal to his own flung against him it makes it more difficult than he would have imagined to get away. Embarrassing really, given that he could tangle with the likes of Shizu-chan and still manage to get away without any real difficulty, and yet now he finds himself pinned beneath his desperately flailing counterpart and loathe as he is to accept it, it's easier to keep still and allow himself to be held down than to keep struggling]

[While he's not winning, he's not losing either, not with Izaya pinned down like this. Psyche would allow himself one long hum of near victory if not for the fact he could barely breathe with the burden of Izaya weight down on him. He sucks in whatever breath he can muster before rolling over, consequently pinning Izaya on his stomach to the ground. He releases the informant then, but not before sitting on the small of his back triumphantly for some seconds.]
