How It Works

Sometimes, memes can be awkward. There's always that feeling that, if you don't know the person behind the curtain, you'll be intruding somehow. Don't worry. We've all been there. Still, it's nice to have that little reassurance that hey, it's cool. We're all in this together and we just want to play. That's where this meme comes in! The point here is to play with someone you've never played with before, OR play with a character/canon you're unfamiliar with. The prompts provided include mundane activities, chance meetings, platonic fluff, romance/smut, fighting, and crack. This is pretty much the granddaddy of meme variety, so there should be something for just about everyone. INSTRUCTIONS - Comment with you character(s). That took him a moment then he got it.

You saw me undercover. I was talking to a suspect. Wearing a wire. She killed her husband. I got her on tape confessing.

She thought I was a killer for hire. She was trying to flirt and distract me from business. Her way of testing a guy's focus.






You don't think I'd cheat on you do you?

No she didn't think he would but give her extra time home alone with two kids and a dog, when she didn't even have time to shower or look decent, sometimes you get crazy.

No. Just haven't seen you much. Then saw you with her.

I had this whole thing planned in my head for lunch.

Well I am off for lunch now, if you'd like to go. Also I have some good news for you.

The nanny is still here. Can you come get me?

She kissed the kids bye and headed downstairs, pacing around outside while she waited on him.

He pulled up outside and actually got out of the car. He walked around and opened the passenger side door for her with a smile. His eyes just lit up when he saw her.

She smiled brightly when she saw him and glancing into his eyes, she didn't know how she could ever think he'd cheat.

"Hey, handsome."

"Hey, Beautiful."

He leaned in for a quick kiss.

She smiled up at him, drawing that kiss out just a bit more. "I'm sorry."

"Oh baby, you have nothing to be sorry for."

He would always gladly kiss her for as long as she'd want.

She hugged him for a moment but didn't agree with him. "Yes, I do. I know you wouldn't cheat but I hadn't seen you much lately and I was excited about some time without the kids and I was gonna drag you away for a little fun." she explained, "Then I saw you in that diner with that woman and...I don't know."

"I love you and I'll never stray from you. I've missed you too. Tell me where you want to go, anywhere you want. A room somewhere and room service?" He drew her into his arms lovingly.

She hugged him tighter and nodded her head, "Yeah, let's do that if you have time." They needed a little time alone, even if it was just an hour.

"I have time Baby." He smiled and hugged her back letting her get into the car, once she had he closed her door for her. Walking around he slipped in and buckled in before driving.

He found a nice place, no dive would do for his wife.

"Was this your surprise?" she asked, remembering earlier he said something about a surprise.

She was definitely impressed by the place and she leaned over close to him before they got out. "Nice place. This is the best kind of messing around during the daytime ever...with my husband who I love very much."

"No my surprise is three days off." He grinned just waiting for that reaction.

She gasped, "I get you all to myself for three whole days?" she asked, hugging him tight. "I won't want to let you go back to work." It wasn't often he got three days off in a row or even two.
