Nothing too difficult. Take the mighty Dawnbreaker and with it purge corruption from the dark corners of the world. Wield it in my name, that my influence may grow.

That is a question with a complicated answer. I was a Hellrider of Elturel, sworn to the city and her people, until it fell into Avernus. Then, we learned all of our souls had been bound to the fate of Elturel, to be cannon fodder for the Blood War at Zariel's command.

My oath was broken, not by me, but by the city itself. But the stain remains, and the wound to my pride. I am all too aware of that weakness in me, and how it might be exploited.

And you don't want an avenue to seek redemption, to find your way back into the light?

[This is, at the end of the day, a little bit of a false promise. Meridia is Light, but she is not Good. She's daedric in nature, despite being anuic in origin, with all that entails. Once, she was a star.]
