The Slave Auction Meme

Warning: Be aware that this meme deals with dark subjects like slavery and may also contain non-consensual/dubiously consensual sex, violence, and kink.

SLAVES

1. The Newbie - This is your very first auction and you don't quite know what to expect. Hopefully you remember your training and don't disgrace yourself in front of your new master. Hopefully someone thinks you're worth buying at all.

2. The Oldtimer - You've been bought and sold and bought again so many times. You've seen it all before and don't think this time is going to be much different. In fact, the only real anxiety you've got is whether or not someone's going to pay for a more than slightly used slave.

3. The Pet - You're a pleasure slave. A bed warmer. A decorative piece of artwork. You're meant to look pretty and be pleasing and not much else.

4. The Guard - Your master hired you because of your ability to swing a sword or shoot a gun, not your looks.

5. The Escape Artist - Somehow you always manage to squirm out of your master's chains. Too bad you seem to get caught after a while. Maybe your next daring escape will be permanent. Then again, maybe your next master has special ways of keeping you locked up.

6. The Undercover - You aren't a slave at all, you're just pretending to be one. Why? Well that's up to you. Either way, your cover is blown if you don't act the part.

7. The Specialist - You have a skill that no one else has. Something rare and valuable. Something your master needs more than anything else.

MASTERS

1. The Customer - You've owned slaves before and this trip to the market is nothing new to you. Still, you're hoping to find something worth your while.

2. The Gift - Someone bought a pet for you, isn't that nice of them? Or maybe it isn't so nice. Did you even want a slave in the first place? Well you're stuck with one now.

3. The Giver - You're selecting a slave for someone else, and they need to be perfect. Perhaps you'd better test them out first to make sure you're getting your money's worth.

4. The Trainer - You specialize in taming unruly slaves and making them over into perfect, obedient, well-trained pets.

5. The Rebel - You hate the idea of slavery, but the system isn't going to go away any time soon, so the next best thing is to buy up any slave you can get your hands on and free them, right?

6. The Companion - You want someone to be with you always, someone you can talk to and depend on, someone who will never leave your side. It's a good thing that money can buy that these days.

7. The Undercover - You're not actually a Master. You're at the auction for an entirely different reason. Maybe it's special policework, maybe you're trying to hunt down a certain someone. Either way, your cover is blown unless you act the part.

[how about an AU?]

[Oooo, sure! Who as the slave? Probably going to be a gift either way.]

[I have ideas for both scenarios, so I'm going to let you pick!

[Tsuzuki as slave then. <33]

[His father had told him that when he came of age, he would be given more responsibility. Hisoka thought it meant he would begin to look for marriage candidates(the Kurosaki line was an important family that needed an heir, after all.) so imagine his surprise when he finds out he's been given a 'pet' instead. His father always did enjoy being condescending.]

[However, a pet might not be a bad thing. Besides, the young man bound and placed in the harem's chambers was beautiful. Hisoka could see he was valuable. He poked him with his boot.]

Wake up.

[Tsuzuki was under no illusions about his role, and being brought to a harem after his purchase and cleaning up had just made it more obvious. But he was alright with it, and hoped he'd have a kind master. One who might give him sweets like one of the auctioneers once had.

He jerked awake at the nudge, blinking his eyes open to look at the boot. It took him a moment before he followed it up to the young man standing over him, bright purple eyes still a little startled, but curious. Was this his master?]

[Those purple eyes were striking. Hisoka knew well enough that such rare colours were saved for ...special pets. Father must have paid a small fortune for the man. He didn't fool himself into thinking it was because he cared. Hisoka knew well enough that having a rare slave was a status symbol, much like other belongings.]

[He gracefully tugs off his gloves, seating down in his chair next to the lavished pillows that had been arranged for his pet. Father had told him about how to introduce pets to their new surroundings, but he hadn't actually done it before, so he sounds somewhat tense.]

This is your new home now. Before you become familiar with it, there are rules you should be aware of.

[With the soft ropes still binding Tsuzuki, he couldn't really get up, but he straightened on the pillows as much as he could, listening attentively, wondering what rules those would be, and what role he'd play here.]

What are they, master?

[The ropes were there not just to keep Tsuzuki vulnerable, but also to keep Hisoka safe. Not all the slaves they had bought previously were the gentle sort, and Father had learned not to take such security for granted.]

[Hisoka could tell that Tsuzuki wasn't like those previous ones. He even remembered to call him master, which was a good sign.]

You are my pet, now. You will stay by my side. You will not betray me. Remember that if something happens to me, you will pay the price.

In return, once a satisfactory time period has passed, you will receive a boon from me.

[Tsuzuki nodded quickly in agreement. Those were easy orders to follow, and Tsuzuki didn't like to betray people even if they were cruel. Which, he had the feeling that Hisoka wouldn't be. The slave offered his new master a smile.]

I'll stay with you, master. And protect you.

[He hadn't known Tsuzuki long enough to trust him, but hearing those words were a good start. Tsuzuki were clearly worth the fortune his father had spent on him.]

Good boy.

[He knelt down by the pillows, wrapping a dog collar around Tsuzuki's neck. It was important to take care of your belongings, after all.]

[He hadn't even been given much training. The man was just rather naturally cooperative, something a bit at odds with the idea of being forced into obedience. Though that didn't stop the pout when his master used a pet praise on him.

Tsuzuki lifted his chin to make it easier to put the collar on, wishing he'd gotten a better look at it.]

Does it say anything?

Don't trouble yourself with it.

[The collar needs to be customized, since hasn't settled on what he wants to call Tsuzuki yet. For now, it only shows the most essential of information, just in case he becomes lost and someone finds him. The other option was to put it under his skin, but Hisoka found the idea of that kind of operation to be distasteful.]

[Tsuzuki's natural submissiveness is charming, in its own innocent way. Hisoka touches his head, running his fingers through his hair.]

Did they give you a name?

[Tsuzuki said reached up to touch it, shifting it to see how comfortable it was so he could ask it adjusted while his master was still there and pleased with him. Those fingers through his hair made him blink, but he couldn't deny that it felt nice. He nodded under Hisoka's hand.]

It's Tsuzuki.

Hmmm. Let us keep it.

[He doesn't realize the hair touching is unusual. The texture looked soft, so he wanted to feel it between his fingers. He can't deny that he liked it.]

[Hisoka kneels down, unwrapping Tsuzuki's wrists slowly. He doesn't want to rush it, because that would give his new belonging a chance to run. He wants him to appreciate the trust he is giving him.]

You will be free to roam the castle, but avoid the gardens. I will take you for walks, if you are to go outside.

Can I ask for them when I want them? [Being denied the gardens was disapointing, but if he could go out in them with his master, then that would be alright.] I like flowers.

[He didn't get up when he was untied, just resettled a little more comfortably with a smile. Where would he even run to, in a place like this, if he wanted to? Anywhere he went, he knew he'd be caught and probably punished.

Besides, Hisoka seemed nice so far. Maybe it'd be nice to live with him.]

Not without an escort.

[His voice is firm when he says so, revealing how commanding he will become when he grows up.]

The gardens are haunted by some creature. Father is working to get rid of it. Until then you must stay safe.

[The fact that Tsuzuki has accepted his fate so readily is very charming. It makes Hisoka wonder what his life must have been before he came to his home. He gathers the silk ribbons and ropes, so Tsuzuki doesn't have to rest on top of them. He is promising. Much more than Hisoka had anticipated. It makes him want to serve him in some way -at least make him comfortable in his new role.]

In the meantime, we can arrange for this room to be decorated with flowers.

Thank you Master!

[Tsuzuki beamed at the promise, resisting the urge to get up and hug his smaller master. But only just barely. Though the warning made him very, very curious.]

We don't know yet.

[It's both a cause of concern and dread for the staff working there. Hisoka refrained from mentioning the maid found dead near the pond. Tsuzuki didn't need to know. His curiosity is noticed, however, since he couldn't have looked more like a inquisitive puppy if he tried.]

[Hisoka gestures fr him to come closer to his lap.]

All we know is that it doesn't stray too far from the water.

[Moving forward, Tsuzuki put his head on Hisoka's knee. He was too big to sit in his master's lap comfortably for either of them unfortunately.]

Like a kappa?

Possibly.

[Hisoka's expression softened once Tsuzuki did exactly what he wanted out of him. He couldn't remember the last time someone understood what he wanted without him having to express it. He rested his hand on the back of Tsuzuki's neck, just like he would do to an obedient pet. Since Tsuzuki has been listening so well, he even rubs his fingers through the shorter hair, knowing that it feels calming.]

Kappa aren't quite as dangerous as this is. It evades us. It targets adults, not children.

[Tsuzuki's eyes slid shut contently, continuing to listen. It was good that it didn't go after children, if it had to attack people. Children had a harder time defending themselves.]

I hope it doesn't hurt anyone else.

[As long as Tsuzuki responds to the caresses, Hisoka will continue. It relaxes him to see that his new pet has such a good heart, worrying about others before himself.]

Me too. We need to be careful.

[He glances out across the harm chambers. They has a rather luxurious pool in the middle, and it only then occurs to him that the creature might take advantage of that, if it manages to get inside.]

Tonight I want you to come to my chambers. Is that understood?

[Tsuzuki lifted his head to follow Hisoka's eyes, nodding quietly.]

Yes master. I'll ask someone the way if I'm not already with you.
