[In fairness, horns don't prevent you from getting stabbed, they just enable you to stab back. Zevlor should know.]It's going to take a lot of flowers, but I'll try anything at this point.

Not a bad idea, but better ask Halsin or Rath first. Some of the others made it very clear they were fans of Kagha's ideas, even if they never got the chance to put them into practice.
[There is a part of him that really wants to watch that. But it would be ill advised.] Given Nettie's affinity for poisonous thorns, I think it would be wiser to stick to friendly faces.
Not that I think she would poison us, she's got better things to do, but I doubt she'd make you flowers, either. [Nettie is, in his opinion, more irascible than cruel. Still, best not to test her.]
have you seen him? he can convince me of almost anything.
[ no intimidation required. ]
rath "means well" by not choosing to stand up to kagha with the same determination she showed in getting arabella imprisoned. instead he chose to lead a child to a jail cell.
An impressive man, indeed. [Don't take the understatement for lack of enthusiasm. Zevlor's a little older, but he ain't dead.]
Better a prison than a viper's mouth. There is a fine line between cowardice and diplomacy, and perhaps Rath was on the wrong side of it. Still, I have some pity for the druids in spite of it all. I would have none if they had killed our children.
[ she wants to argue the point. she wants to say that zevlor wasn't in the room, he didn't see the snake coiled at kagha's feet, didn't see how smoothly it slithered, how on edge it was.
how ready to strike.
rath, his impotent protesting aside, did nothing. stood there and further roused the viper's ire when he filled silence with "but" and "see reason". ]
[ but this point is probably a moot one to fight now. not with a party on the horizon. this is a matter of principle they'll have to amicably disagree on. ]
still, maybe halsin can help arabella, mirkon, and doni learn how to make flower crowns while everyone else makes merry with the several hundred bottles of wine we've somehow gathered.
[ it's thorn, she's the reason they're lugging around hundreds of pounds of wine bottles she literally can't stop herself picking up whatever's been left behind. it's free real estate gold at merchants. ]
[Zevlor has an eye to diplomacy and pragmatism. There is no use in stoking rage against the druids--they may need trade yet, before they go, and putting all their trust in Halsin's leadership has worked out poorly in the past. There is plenty of blame to go around: Zevlor is reserving a bit for himself, too.
But tonight, none of that matters. Flower crowns. Wine. Sweets for the children, including Mol, who thinks she's ready to be a hard-drinking kingpin but will do better with a little watered wine and all the cake she can hold.] Let's see how many of the little scamps we can recruit for flower weaving, then. Keep them out of trouble for once.

well it just so happens that i have a whole grove of druids who owe me a favor or two. i'm sure at least one of them can conjure all that we need.

halsin it is! i'll let him do the intimidating. er, convincing! that's the word.
rath doesn't deserve to have fun.
[ you can't tell her that halsin wouldn't intimidate the hells out of the rest of the idiot druids for being idiots. ]

Rath will benefit from growing a spine, should he allow the bone grafts to take hold, but he means well.

[No hesitation whatsoever. Worst case scenario, he can offer her five of the ten gold. Mol is a businessperson.]

i have something i want to give her and if i can't find her before the party starts, then i'll find her there with the rest of the troublemakers.
