Two characters have to share a room for the night. Every room is occupied, but fortunately there is one last room available.

There's just one problem — there's only one bed, and the characters aren't comfortable sharing it.

[ a click of my tongue as i fold my hands behind my back, under the stars and stripes of my cape. i lower my chin, my eyes staring directly into victoria's, and i shake my head a bit. ]

The news is covered in rumors. We're having a meeting, and it just happens to be overnight. The vice president has to have defense meetings, does she not?

[ i glance around the room, and it isn't what i'm used to. it's a nice suite, of course it is, it's for the vice president — but there's something besides another bed missing. a sense of elegance, of the declaration of power. my attention falls back to victoria. ]

I'm not going back to Vought Tower until we've had our little chat.
