Well, there is someone like... myself and then a human, like you. What are your thoughts there? Unless you aren't human, I don't mean to presume.

[ Murder would be a scandalous way to greet a new companion, and Lycaon is not nearly that impolite. Of course, if he had to murder someone, he would, but the situation does not call for it. ]

Oh, but I am not a werewolf. I am simply a wolf. A wolf Thiren to be exact, which means what you see is exactly what you get. I cannot shift into a more "human" form as werewolves do.

Trying to figure out how much I know about tomfoolery, hm? Well, I'm a single dad of a teenage son, so you have to know what to meddle with for safety and what to leave alone.

Furries are just artistic and techie nerd type humans who like to draw and make costumes of themselves as lions and tigers and bears, oh my. I don't think you being nonhuman is going to be a huge obstacle.

I have... seen humans that are particularly interested in Thirens like myself for more, ah, subversive reasons. I'm not sure they're the type to dress up like one, but I can acknowledge that certain humans have appreciation for people of my kind more than in a casual manner.

Is this what you would refer to as a "furry"?

Well. It's not my place to give you dating advice as-such, but I would also recommend you don't get with someone who only interests themself with your biology and not your personality. Honestly, I probably would call them that. But if I had to guess, I'd also say you're not here asking hypothetical questions. There's someone involved, isn't there?

I do try to avoid those like that. If I were to pursue someone, it would very much be on personality alone.

There is... no one at the moment. [ . . . ] There is a human I would consider if they showed interest, but they have not at this time. Still, the thought crossed my mind as I considered my future. An interspecies relationship would likely be in the cards.

At this point I don't think I'm going to have any other kind.

You just... have to be more careful. You don't know each other's limits as well, and there's less... guarantee that things will just work out.

Communication is key in any relationship and especially so in an interspecies relationship. I can agree with that.

I think each situation would be unique. The compatibility of the couple in question can vary greatly from pair to pair, I assume.

Like in-species relationships as well, every person is different and so their preferences and experiences should be taken into count when it comes to something as important as an intimate relationship.

Intimate and personal, huh. Like friendship, and acceptance? I think it should be less taboo than it is. It should be freely allowed to the point where it's not a topic of conversation at all.

I have plenty of interspecies friendships but something more than that is... a little more foreign to me. It is nice to hear perspectives that are more open to these things like yours though.

I wouldn't say there is someone specific. I suppose I am preparing myself mentally for the possibility though, because I have found myself in good company recently that I would not be ... opposed to, if they showed interest.
