Intimacy is the glue of any relationship, albeit romantic or friendship. It's getting to the root of humanity, and expanding upon ourselves and letting others in.

Rules:
1. Post with your character.
2. Go to rng and roll from 1-6.
3. Post to others.
4. Profit

Scenes:
1. First Kiss. Maybe you've been harboring feelings or maybe this is random. But it feels good to be that close to someone.

2. Love Confession. You have been head over heels for this person and now it's time to try and get close to them.

3. Secrets. You've been hiding yourself from someone and now it's time to stop. They need to know the real you.

4. First Time. First time you have sex is always nerve racking, but it's in these moments that you show how much you truly care about someone.

5. Shower. Perhaps you've been together for awhile. Maybe you've told each other everything. Maybe you're just dirty and need to get cleaned up. But letting the water flow between two people is still pretty intimate.

6. Post-Coital Bed. Do you feel talkative after sex? Want to ponder the meaning of life / if you guys are more than a one-night stand? Better to do it after the deed probably.. at least your partner will be in a good mood?

7. Road Trip. Good for that bonding experiance you never had! Bad diner food and weird landmarks you never knew you wanted to see! Will it bring you closer to your friend / lover?

8. Drunk. Are you the happy or sad kind? Clingy, or flighty? Maybe you just need a hug, to snuggle close.. to whoever's around at the time!

9. Winter. What could be a better time to curl up with a book, or exchange soft words in the glow of the fire? Hot chocolate time!

10. Free verse. Did I leave something out? Want to combine? Make up your own or pick from the others.

It was the end of their first full day in Paris and Ariadne had taken him all over the place. Her favorite cafe for breakfast then The Louvre, then Luxembourg Garden and the shops in the Latin quarter, the best crepe place she knew for lunch, Notre Dame, and then a sunset cruise of the Seine down to the Eiffel Tower. Complete with their own bottle of wine to share in the back.

She passed the bottle back to him with a big smile, showing off red-tinged lips and cheeks. She was giving him her own narration of things instead of listening to the ear phones. A narration that was getting more and more ridiculous the longer the cruise lasted and the tipsier she got.

"Having fun?" she asked.

John had been having the time of his life even though he was exhausted at this point and it was only the end of the first day there. With Ariadne by his side and the wine, John was feeling relaxed for the first time in a very long time. "Yeah, you?" He drank straight from the bottle.

"Oui!" she said with a grin before she snuggled up closer to him. The sun was almost down and it was chilly out on the water. "Isn't this city the most beautiful ever?"

The lights were lit on all the buildings and the Tower was lit up ahead of them.

John wrapped his arm around her shoulders and leaned his head against hers. "Oui," he replied to her question. "But not as beautiful as you."

"Aww," she said before turning to kiss him. "You're sweet."

He grinned against her lips. "I love you," he murmured.

"I love you, too," she said before kissing him again.

He reached up and rested a hand against her cheek. "Are you cold?"

"No," she said shaking her head. "You and the wine are warming me right up."

"Okay, just checking." He kissed her temple before looking around.

"The tower should start sparkling any time now," she said as she took the bottle back from him and took a sip. They were getting close to the end of the boat ride and it was pretty much dark out now.

John only had to wait for a few seconds before the Eiffel Tower did in fact start sparkling like a Christmas tree. "Wow."

She looked at him instead of the tower, watching his face light up.

"Told you," she said. "Wanna go up it?"

He looked over at her. "Isn't there a restaurant or something up there?"

"There is," she said. "Do you wanna go? We could come back some other night. Get all dressed up fancy."

[gcpd]

"We don't have to go tonight," he said with a shrug. "But I would like to go up."

[inyourdreams]

"Want to take the stairs?" she asked. Even though she wasn't even sure she could walk at all right now.

[gcpd]

He huffed out a laugh. "Do you think you could take the stairs?"

[inyourdreams]

"You think this is the first time I'm drunk at the Eiffel Tower?" she asked.

[gcpd]

He laughed again. "Alright, it's your funeral."

[inyourdreams]

"I know you won't let me fall," she said. The boat started heading to dock.

"What makes you think I'm not as drunk as you?"

When the boat docked and people started getting off, John and Ariadne were the last ones.

"You're heavier than me?" she said as they both made their way to steady ground and started walking towards the tower.

[gcpd]

Arthur wrapped an arm around her waist to keep her steady as they walked.
