How it works:
1. Post with your character, with their name | canon and any preferences in the subject line
2. Someone else tags you. Congratulations, those characters are now on a road trip together! To where? Who cares! We only care about the journey here
3. Go to the RNG and get a random number between 1 and 15 to pick your scenario, or combine numbers or make up your own
4. ???
5. ROAD TRIP STYLED PROFIT!

Scenarios:
1: LOST You should have made a left turn at Albuquerque, or maybe you've been holding the map upside down this whole time! Whatever it is, you're hopelessly LOST. Will you make it back on the path to your destination, or will you find a new adventure? ~~Try not to open any hatches.~~

2: Tourist Trap Okay, you're all for seeing the sights, but World's Biggest Doorstopper? World's Smallest Chicken? World's Noisiest Whistle? Do we really have to stop here, too?

3: Car Trouble Maybe you got a flat tire. Maybe your engine's stalled. Or maybe you just overestimated how far you could get on a half tank of gas. Either way, you're broke down on the side of the road and the nearest station is miles away; better get behind it and push!

4: Bad Weather Driving in the rain? No problem. Driving in torrential downpours or a blinding blizzard? Big problem! Better find a way to get out of the storm fast!

5: When Ya Gotta Go... Didn't I tell you to go before we left? Well, even if you did, maybe you shouldn't have had that 44 ounce Super Big Gulp, because there's not another rest stop for miles. Maybe you can find an empty bottle in the back...

6: Road Delays Stuck in traffic? Stuck at road construction? Stuck in a funeral procession? Bridge out? Whatever it is, it's blocking your way. Do you wait patiently, or maybe find your own way around it.

7: Smokey and the Bandit Oh no, those blue lights behind you can't be good. Maybe you should just pull over and accept your speeding ticket like a decent citizen. Or, maybe you should floor it. High speed chase anyone?

8: Night Driving You decided to drive through the night, and now it's one AM and you're all out of coffee. Wake up a friend and make them help you stay awake; falling asleep at the wheel is dangerous!

9: Ghost Town Boy, this town sure is quiet. And... kind of creepy. Oh God, did something in those corn rows just move? I hear banjo music; DRIVE FASTER!

10: Roadkill Good going, you hit an animal. I sure hope you feel good about yourself. Now you've killed the poor- oh, it's still moving? What do we do now!?
10a: The I Know What You Did Last Summer Edition That animal you hit was a little more human than you care for... oh dear...

11: ROAD RAGE That jerk cut me off! How dare he!? I'll make him pay! Or maybe you cut off a less-than-friendly driver of your own, and now he's after you...

12: Carjacked Awww, that was a good lunch. ...Wait, I know this is where we parked... Dude, where's the car!?!?

13: Hitchhiking Who said you needed a car for a road trip? Stick that thumb out and catch a ride where you're going. Maybe you and a buddy are chillin' with the pigs in a trailer, or maybe that nice looking hitchhiker you picked up down the road is not as nice as you thought...

14: Fantasy Car Roads? Where you're going, you don't need roads. If you're in Doc's DeLorean, anyway. Or maybe the car is really Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Or a spy car. Or the Batmobile. Or a Transformer! Whatever it is, this car is NOT normal.

15: Obligatory Romance/Smut Option You're now parked in one of the make-out points in this town. Did you know? Well, that's up to you, as is what you do next.

16: Are We There Yet? Roller's choice! Pick your favorite option, or two, or three, or just roll with whatever feels right!

How was I supposed to know they thought it was a sacred object of worship?!

[ Says the Doctor as he is quickly running to the TARDIS. Oh, well, this became an awkward outing didn't it? ]

I don't know, the guys in robes all around and the big fancy case they had it displayed in might have been a clue!!

[For once it's not him screwing the pooch in alien lands. It's a fact worth noting, even as he continues to run at pace with The Doctor to that crazy TARDIS and away form the mob of angry worshipers.]

You just had to touch it?!

I've seen monks in robes. Headless Monks. They haven't got a use for robes, so not everyone in robes means religious orders! Pay attention, John!

[ The Doctor luckily is an alien who is always in alien trouble. It must be a nice turn around for Crichton. ]

Yes, I did! It was emitting this -- thing! You know! Like yowzah!

Doctor, for my own sanity's sake, I barely listen to anything you say.

[It would be, if they weren't running for their life again. Wow, is this what living with him was like? He suddenly feels like he owes his crewmates some apologies.]

Yeah, and what if that 'thing' had been radiation?!

Which is rather ironic considering the life you live!

[ He comes to sliding halt once the reach the TARDIS doors. With a glance behind him, he holds his hand up and snaps his fingers. The doors swing open and the Doctor motions John inside. ]

Nope! Sonic would of told be before hand. Now, shut up, and get inside!

Which reminds me, you said you knew something about all that.

[Get in the time traveling space ship he said, it'll help he said. God, how did he ever let himself get talked into this?]

You still didn't have to touch it!

[He does as he's told and hurries inside.]

Now, do you know where we are going or not?

I do know a thing or two. If they add up in the right order is completely different.

[ Why are you so rude when your life is on the line, John? You could be nicer! ]

It was glowing and I was curious! [ And act like a nine year old. Sue him!

The Doctor slides in after him and shuts the doors. A few seconds later gunfire is heard hitting it. He growls slightly and goes straight to the console. With a few flips of some switches, the time rotor is going and off they go. ]

I always know where I'm going. Sometimes the TARDIS feels like changing it up.

How is that supposed to help me?

[Maybe he'd be nicer if the Doctor didn't always act like had the attention span of an excitable Cocker Spaniel.]

God, and I used to think Starbursts were a navigational gamble.

It is supposed to help you keep your mind open. Blimey, do I have to spell it out to you?

[ He knows John is smarter than that. It's just that they're both very agitated at the moment. ]

Moya probably doesn't have a temperamental mind like my TARDIS does.

Yeah, I was kinda hoping you would. Half the time it doesn't even sound like you're speaking English at all. God, now I know how Aeryn must feel all the time.

[Running for one's life tends to have that affect.]

No, Moya is a good listener.

I speak perfectly fine! You're just not keeping up. Maybe I ought to drop you back on Earth.

[ Could you imagine how that would go with Aeryn? ]

Moya has been captive for how many years? That is what she does. She listens because it is how she was forced to survive.

[Crichton scowls at The Doctor.]

Two years ago I would have taken you up on that offer. [Too late now.] But if you're gonna 'drop' me anywhere, it better be back with my crew.

She's not a captive anymore. She's had her chances to be rid of us. We care for her, and she cares for us. Doesn't mean she always agrees with our actions. And believe it or not, we do take her wishes into account.

Gotten rather fond of em, eh? I'd offer to drop them all on Earth but I'm fairly sure they wouldn't like Earth. Especially the toad one.

[ Not that Rygel likes anything, lets be honest. ]

I wouldn't expect you lot to treat a Leviathan any different! I'm not sure your Pilot would put up with you if you treated her like just a transport. That's the thing! So many people do not understand they are living breathing ships. Just in their own ways. [ He gives a fond pat to the TARDIS. ]

You could say that. They'd all rather be on their own planets, and It think Earth would prefer it that way too after all that's happened.

[He likes food. And candy, he loves candy.]

There was that one time we pissed him off enough that he kicked us off the ship for a few days. Made us go down to some party planet.

[And what happens on that planet, stays on that planet. He and D'argo agree never to speak of it again.]

I could always drop them off at their own planets. If they want to go. Although I bet your friend would have me thrown in jail. Not the first time some royal person has tossed me in the cellar.

[ At this rate, it is more likely he will mutter to himself rather than to John. ]

He actually managed to kick you off a Leviathan? Him? How?

My friend? Which one is that?

[He should be used to that by this point. Not that it will stop him from answering anyway.]

He asked us, and we went. But you know, if he really wanted to get rid of us it would be as easy as opening the airlocks and spacing us. He hasn't done that yet so I figure we're all still friends.

You've got more than one royal person on board your Leviathan?

[ Which, that bit should be obvious anyways. ]

Odd definition of friend. Don't you think?

Depends if we're talking kings and queens, or just royal pains in my ass. Rygel is both. But he isn't that ungrateful [anymore].

There's all kinds of definitions. We've been through a lot together; we all have. Pilot? He's family. So is Moya. Families fight sometimes, but we still love each other.

Then lets talk queens and kings. I could take you to meet any of them. Well, except Queen Elizabeth I. She might be a bit upset that I married her then ran out. [ It wasn't as if he really wanted to marry her! ]

Humans. You are the most amazing creatures in the universe.

My track record with royalty hasn't been much better man.

[No seriously, he kissed some princess and they tried to make him a king...and a statue for 80 years...and a father. Well, they succeeded at the last one, but not in the normal way. Don't ask.]
