[ It was the morning after Alice had returned from the Ginnungagap. He had kept his promise; he didn't leave her side once, even if he didn't have to sleep. Mithos leaned over to kiss Alice's forehead occasionally, particularly when it looked like she was about to have another nightmare. For the rest of the time, however, he was seated upright, looking through the local newspapers, looking for any possible leads on the first ingredient they needed to make a Cruxis Crystal: An undamaged exsphere, preferably an older one.

Now obviously, exspheres were banned in this day and age; owning one would get it confiscated, and using one was a crime if it couldn't be proven that you had one attached already, or you weren't a Human Ranch survivor.
