Word Association is a common word game involving an exchange of words that are associated together. [ He's getting at prophecy, a rare claim among his subjects over the years. Seeing as she's not picking up on the direction underlying his questions, he won't elucidate it for her. Prophetic dreams are more unproven than life after death; he'd be opening himself up to mockery for no reason.

If we're talking about dreams... I don't know if it's a false memory. I think that'd make sense, if it was. But... after I left home, I'd dream about my brother. [The dead one.] He'd tell me where to go, and I could always find work there. When I went where he didn't say, nobody was hiring. It lasted for like a year.

The weird thing is, I think he had your voice.
