Life has not been kind to you recently, but you have been such a good sport about it, the universe has decided to give you a bit of a break: you have found yourself in one of the most expensive resorts in the world. all expenses have been paid for, so it's time to live it up! don't ask any questions, this is your dream vacation!

four → missing baggage/passport it's gone. it's all gone. everything.
five → wrong/bad flight annoying kid kicking your back? or did you catch a flight to antarctica?
six → horrible hotels looks like you got a bad reference: poor service, bug, evil ghosts, this hotel has it all.
seven → bad weather it's a hurricane and tornado and everything else all at once head for the hiiiiiiills!

[Oh my god who the fuck talked Stiles into this vacation? Oh, that's right - it was totally Scott. Who has been completely attached to Allison like some kind of annoying werewolf barnacle the entire time they've been here so far. So since his friends have abandoned him, Stiles has done his best to make himself accessible to the ladies of the island, but no luck on that front. He hasn't even been able to score any booze, even with the fake ID he talked Danny into helping him get before he left Beacon Hills.

So this is pretty much the lamest spring break ever. No, Stiles is not feeling sorry for himself, thanks, but he's just decided to take a bit of a stroll away from the resort. There's a pretty nifty waterfall he spotted earlier that he's going to check out.]

Family vacations weren't something in Derek's vocabulary. In fact, the entire thing had been, of all people, Allison's idea because of course packing up four families with multiple kids to go on a road trip to Disney was a fantastic idea.

Babysitting them all at home was one thing. Derek knew his property, knew what was on it, and it was easier to keep an eye on them when they were crawling around the house and making a mess.

This? This was chaos. It had come to a head when Miles and Connor had decided they were going to do nothing but pick on one another for the last hour, and Derek and Scott both had called time out. The other adults rounded up the other kids, while Scott took Miles back to their hotel room, and Derek took Connor back to theirs.

He's not angry. Just tired, and he's carrying Connor in his arms, walking down the Anaheim sidewalks.

[Brazilian food was interesting to a poor Gotham girl's palette. Selina remembers the first time she had a meal that didn't come from a soup kitchen or that she didn't steal. A man paid for one of those meals and she felt no guilt when she turned him down for the one thing he was looking for. She smiles to herself at the memory, now sitting in an open air cafe in Rio. Selina's enjoying a plate of vatapá - seafood had always been her favorite once she had it. How ironic.

A breeze picks up through the street, rustling the palm trees overhead. It soon dies down, but another one is quick on its heels. Selina puts a hand up to her wide-brimmed hat to hold it down. There was nothing really to be concerned about; the breeze was warm.
