[And now you get the silent treatment as Tim shakes his head and makes his way to the grandfather clock.]

[Jason follows, although he's not sure how far he's willing to venture just to mock Tim.]

[He pretends to be ignoring Jason adamantly, but in truth, he's paying attention to every word as he opens the casing and fiddles with the hands on clock, causing a mechanism to activate, revealing the long stairway down to the caverns below. So Jason wants to play around, huh? He can do that. For now, though, he keeps his head straightforward, expression still stuck in the constipated angry look only Tim and Bruce have perfected.]

[The sight of the staircase leading down into the darkness makes Jason feel physically ill. He doesn't move forward to follow Tim any further. He can't.]

[Tim folds up his crutches and shrugs, taking them off, as well as the leg braces. The facade had gone on for long enough, and atrophy was something he seriously needed to consider. He turned back and looked at Jason to see if he was following, only to be surprised by the fact that he wasn't being hounded.]

What's with you?

What? I've got better things to do than follow you around while you live your virgin life in the Cave.

[He doesn't say a word about the crutches. You don't grow up under Bruce's wing for as long as all of them had without learning a thing or two about deception.]
