This meme deals with three types of love, angsty, sweet, and twisted! Please note that there are triggers abound!

I. BAD ROMANCE
01. IT'S TOO LATE TO APOLOGIZE. You had a fight and now your lover isn't sure they want to even hear your apologies.
02. HURT/COMFORT You or your lover is in pain, physically or mentally, and needs to be comforted.
03. SECOND BEST. No matter what your lover says, you feel like they're only settling for you like a second choice.
04. CHEATED. You've seen all the signs; lipstick on the collar, scraches down the back, hickeys you didn't leave behind. Do you want to keep ignoring it or finally confront them?
05. KEEP ME FROM FALLING. Your lover is being discouraged from seeking any sort of relationship with you and it's definitely a strain.
06. BUT HOW DO I KNOW... You love your partner so much, but you're uncertain just how they feel about you.
07. JUST NOT FEELING THE SPARK... That spark in he bedroom seems to be gone, so how are you going to deal?
08. I WANT YOUR LOVE, I DON' WANT TO BE FRIENDS. You're obsessed with the object of your affection and you will stop at nothing to win them over.
09. A KISS WITH A FIST IS BETTER THAN NONE. Your relationship is rough and you spend more time fighting than anything else, but you can't give up that spark anyway. You'll stay together even if you both end up miserable.

III. HOW CAN I EXIST WITHOUT YOU?
01. YOU WOULDN'T WANT ME TO HAVE TO HURT YOU TOO... The object of your love/lust is resisting your advances, so it's time to take what you want.
02. JEALOUSY. It's jealousy to the extreme. You're going to make damn sure your lover knows how you feel about them seeing other people.
03. INCEST IS BEST. You know it's wrong, all kinds of sinful, but you can't resist the draw. If characters aren't related, then they are now! Or at least it feels very close to incest anyway.
04. YOU'RE NEVER GONNA GET FAR. You love that person so much, you've made sure they can't get away - by physically tying them down or by some other emotional or mental means.
05. I'LL MAKE YOU HURT. You've set it up to make sure your lover catches you cheating or doing something else hurtful just for that reason. You want to make them suffer.
06. CHAINS AND WHIPS EXCITE ME. You're both taking sex to extremes.
07. BROKEN. Your lover has utterly broken you and you need them to know.
08. SECRECY. You're embarrassed by your lover, utterly embarrassed. If they weren't useful in some way (even if it's just in bed!), you wouldn't even be with them.
09. YOU'RE MY LAST CHOICE. You don't really love the person you're with, but they're all you could snatch up and it's no secret to either of you.
10. FORCED TOGETHER. You don' love each other, but you have no choice but to be together due to outside influences. Alternatively, you've been captured and are now being forced to make a sex video even if you don't want to.
11. WATCH HOW I DO IT. You were just forced to watch your lover have sex with someone else (willingly or not) or beaten and now you've got to deal with the aftermath.

not that he thought she'd get very far. though, he doesn't believe she'll give up until she finally cracks him - and, oh, he does hope she doesn't tire easily.

they both know she won't relent until she's at least made a dent. and even then, it'll be far from over.

he's been expertly bound to the headboard of her bed - nothing too tight, no. just on the verge of teasing, and his shirt is gone. carefully hung off to the side so as not to get wrinkled (heaven forbid) and she stands at the foot of the bed, lightly tapping her palm with the end of that riding crop. she's contemplating him. he knows she is. knows that she's been waiting to get him like this for her, and can only imagine what she has in store.

she's had long enough to ponder. make a list, as it were. and though he shows no outward beat of elevated interest, he can't deny that he's at the very least curious of what she has in mind for him.

[It seems shore leave doesn't seem to happen too often anymore so Bones always likes to enjoy it as much as he can. He's never made it a secret that he's not exactly fond of space even though he does love his job. So when he's on shore leave he likes to spend as much time as he can outside...which is difficult when there's a lightning storm happening.

He sighs his back to Uhura, looking out the window.]

What's the goddamn point in shore leave when the weather's going to be like this...

[No one said it was easy being John Constantine. Well, maybe they did at one point, but who gives a that's ass about the opinion of the uninformed. In fact, the only thing harder than being John Constantine was being involved WITH the man in question. Not that it stopped the man from occasionally finding a good roll in the hay, and if that turned into something more, who was he to look down on good fortune or divine providence or whatever the hell whoever it was was calling it these days? The point was, he was heading home after a long job that shouldn't have taken as long as it did. He was tired, and the fucking she-devil he helped banish back to the deepest pits of the bullshit dimension's departing ashes clung to his trench coat just as strongly as her fucking scent, a heady smell that he was more than ready to wash away with a nice bath and a pint of whatever was left in his fridge.

However, when he got home, he found not the safe haven of squalor he was accustomed to, but the evidence of his security systems compromised. And by compromised he meant fucking obliterated like they weren't sigils meant to hold back entire demon armies but a damn piece of scotch tape that was ripped apart.

John didn't rush in like his first instinct told him to, but rather began to summon up what was left of his magic reserves. They weren't much, but a small spell or two could be enough for him to figure something out before he was ripped apart by whatever lay inside.

Imagine his surprise when he opened the door and found not some unholy creature, but one of the more striking members of his revolving acquaintainceships. Zatanna Zatara, still as striking as he remembered her, and the woman he currently was closest to. he gave a small smile when he realized who it was and dropped the hand he'd begun tracing spells out with, instead reaching into his pocket for a cigarette.]

Not that I don't appreciate the surprise, love, but usually people call before breaking into someone's flat.

[Shockingly, there are a few things that can bring The Other Girl down - at least for a short period of time. Dropping a town on her would probably do it. A nuclear missile, maybe. Enough chemicals to kill an army is pretty good, too.

Guess which one the enemy of the week went for? (Hint: there's no radiation fallout and New York is still in place). The Hulk absorbs most of it, but when she gives way to Bryce, there's still more than enough unidentified drugs running through her system to give the younger Tony Stark a run for his money.

It isn't like Meja pays too much attention to the stereotypical aspects of a relationship. It isn't like her relationship with Balthazar is particularly conventional, anyway, and marked with the usual sort of road bumps one typically has. Their road bumps have been, for the most part, all their own. But she supposes that an anniversary is an anniversary, even if one of the people in the equation watched fish crawl up on land and learn to walk.

She doesn't even realize it is an anniversary, until an idle conversation with Honir about dresses makes her remember the wedding that she and Balthazar first danced at. He uses it as a trump card — yes, she does sometimes like wearing them — and then frowns at the distant look on her face.

"What?"

"Just... remembering."

If a lynx's face can look sly, Honir's shifts. "Told you."

Now it's Meja's turn to frown, because she's not entirely sure if her soul should be taking that tone of voice with her. Instead, she puts that out of her mind and wonders where Balthazar's got to. While they had been sharing a house for a few months, ever since her Window had randomly opened again, she's been mostly by herself and reading. And cleaning — cleaning a house is such a comfortingly mundane task, when you've had the life that Meja has. She gets up and resolves to track the angel down. If she can find him, she may have something to ask him.

[ Generally, there are several times with each companion where the Doctor is completely sure he would lose them, and then hasn't. It never stops being any less jarring, almost more so, and Clara had been held at gun point and he had been furious and worried and frightened and it was only just that when the gun was actually fired, it missed.

It was just a bit too much and he's still shaky as he pushes Clara in front of him back into the TARDIS, and as soon as the door closes he brushes of her clothes and strokes her hair, gives her forehead a good kiss and then pulls her into a tight hug. And still stroking her hair. ]
