[ Yuzuriha lingers on the platform, hands clasped behind her back. She's not in the oh-so-eyecatching outfit one might expect - just a kimono - but she's still humming to herself and glancing down the track.

She's not quite sure how she got here or where she's going, but she has a ticket and that's enough for her.

What's a train? Meh, she'll figure it out. ]

i'm caught up to the end of 2.1's main story, so all spoilers in relation to that are completely fine. )

[Being a new guest on the Astral Express has certainly been... quite a shakeup from her usual fare.

She's spent most of her time since arriving onboard catching up with Welt and has otherwise been pretty quiet, content to make sure her sword is ready for whatever Trailblazing venture they're likely to set off to in the future. It's a bit hard to think about sharing class notes or whatever big thing you want to do with the rest of the academy when you're out in the stars, after all. But in this brief instance, where she isn't preparing herself out of habit, Mei finds herself gazing out the window of the parlor car, and into the pitch black sea of distant, glimmering lights. She's not foreign to the idea of going out into space -- her last dance with powers beyond her world at large left her on the moon, and even after years her memories of that still feel fresh.

She was, however, foreign to being this far from home. And she tries, oh she tries to mask it. To her credit, she does so well--

[ When Mr. Yang had introduced Mei to the rest of the Astral Express, Stelle found herself smiling; after all, any friend of his was someone that she knew that she could trust without question. And like anyone else, she'd welcome her with open arms - both literally and figuratively, of course.

Maybe that's just one of the reasons why she finds herself approaching, even as she seems a bit... let's just call it "distracted". ]

I bet Mr. Yang and Himeko have probably already asked, but... how have you been handing things? If you need a break from it all, I know the perfect spot.

Thank you for asking either way. I'm doing alright, at least -- there's some things I still need to get used to, [Himeko, in particular,] but it's not something that'd loom over me much.

[ Because unfortunately, yes - they can be eaten. Nevertheless time to skip on over to the Herta Space Station and make their way on over to where... well, Ruan Mei's creations are. Usually Stelle's the only one here, so she hopes that this area doesn't mind an additional visitor.

(Besides, she has a bat in case trouble happens.) ]

They should be over there. There's one that even resembles me quite a bit.

[She's... going to just ignore what she mentioned as they go over to these critters' home. Actually, no, she can't. Why are they edible!? Whose bright idea was it to make cat-shaped food!?

Thankfully the trip over doesn't contain that many complications (other than Mei being quietly perturbed over that last thought, but that can be looked into later. Really.).] Resembles... you? But how--

[The critters themselves, on the other hand... She can't help but stare apprehensively at them once she gets a look. Of course, the minute they hear her footsteps, they're all turning and looking at her. They look like they're judging her, somehow...

...wait, is the one with the trash can doing the closest thing to kneading? Why is said trash can looking cubby that it's hiding in wobbling about? Now that she looks at it, they're all hiding in similarly shaped enclosures... and they're also all wobbly, like it's a part of them--
