( Nero would be a fanatically loyal bodyguard, only showing compassion and tenderness towards his charge. Gen and shipping are both great, but prefer m/m for shipping. I'm also very on-board with him being someone's bodyguard against his will and all the delicious negative CR that comes with it, given the nature of his canon. )

((The guarded. He's already a celebrity, but if you need a more specific reason for him to need a bodyguard, since he's a scientist/engineer/etc, someone (Communist Hungary? Walton Media? He defected/"defected" from both. Or just AU/etc stuff) could be trying to kill him to keep him from sharing secrets.

[The Zwei Association's entire mantra is to be their clients' Shields, nothing more or less. And Gregor's perfectly fine with that; he's good at his job, good enough to not get booted or die mid-job, and now he's got a new job. A bit more...Long-term than he's used to, but that just means that it's career advancement hours, doesn't it? More responsibility equals more money, more power to his reputation as just another Fixer, more benefits all 'round.
...It helps that, even with his casual demeanour, all Zwei Association Fixers have their distinctive uniform and weapon, which, if any foes did their research at all, is enough of a deterrent for the most part. Also, who wants to tangle with anyone packing a zweihander?? Seriously...Foolishness.
Which probably explains the fact that, even when he's looking to finally rendezvous with his new client, Gregor's all smiles and lackadaisical bearing. There's an unlit cigarette jittering on his bottom lip as he examines a picture (all the better to ID the guy), until
until he finally makes eye contact with Akira and bounds over with a jovial wheeze.]

Not something he blamed them for, not in the least, but if they wanted to keep up appearances of being unexceptional aside from social status they had to go about the world as humans do. Carefully.
This meant Akira had spent the first leg of their journey sticking close to his parents' heels, and while they did get to visit plenty of interesting places it wasn't enough. There were so many times he'd wanted to split off and investigate something that caught his eye before being reminded that they needed to stick together. Ever observant as dodomeki are, it didn't take too long for his parents to notice his frustration in being metaphorically leashed to wherever they needed to be.
