Gotta get down on Pi Day~

It is Pi Day. Your characters are sharing a pizza or pie, looking up Pi Day deals on the internet, buying pie at a store or bakery at special Pi Day prices, using the day as an excuse to throw a party, or just wondering why everyone's talking about pie today.
This is a simple one. Do the top level thing with name/canon/preferences, this is a gen meme so shipping shouldn't really be that relevant? Don't leave your top level blank! At least give us a sentence or two to give us an idea of what your character is doing so people have something to go off of. Don't make me come down there and delete blank top levels!

Paul Atreides | Dune
Arpad Kovacs, American Arcadia
They're having a two-for-one deal today. Choose what you like, and I'll order for us.
((Cross-canon especially loved!))
mobius m. mobius | loki | ota.
multiverseuniverse. Too bad calendars don't exist at the TVA. He can only guesstimate when actual Pi Day is taking place. At least he can have his weekly slice of key line without trouble, right? Silver lining here!]

Hey. [They extend to you a slice of a controversial choice.]
Wanna try what I've heard is a crime against nature and good sense with me?
(Rinne Kudo, Canon is Kamen Rider Gotchard)
Might.]
Sure, thank you. [She takes a bite, having a bit of a journey of expressions as she eats it. Yup. This is something Ichinose would absolutely cook.]
It... [She thinks of what to say next, still not knowing what to make of what she just ate.] Was a very interesting experience to eat.
no subject
[Well, nothing to it.]
[If they are having a strong reaction, it is not showing on their face, which is as placid and unresponsive as ever.]
Weird. An interesting mix of salty, savory, tangy, and meaty. The sourness of the fruit is playing an interesting role to the heaviness of the cheese.
It's edible.
no subject
It's a really interesting mix of flavors... It can be a lot to the senses, at least it was for me. But I agree how the fruit has an interesting effect with the cheese. It's fascinating how certain flavor profiles interact with each other.
[She wouldn't take another bite, personally. But she's glad she got to have the experience.]

What I'm trying to understand is why this is given such a bad reputation. From what I was told I expected to have something vomit-inducing.
[Their gaze turns to Rinne's slice with one bite taken out of it.] ...I can understand if it's not to everyone's taste, but saying all that is taking that too far.
no subject
I think it really depends on the palette of the one who tries it. Food is a form of art, which means it's also subjective. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, or in this case... The mouth that bites it.
Though I can agree that while it was a lot for me, I also think people can embellish things a little too much. Because I've certainly had much worse. [She thinks back to her friend Hotaro Ichinose's cooking. Because its truly something to behold... Now his food has some serious flavor profile clashes.]

Where I'm from we really didn't have the luxury of choice. We had to eat when were are told to and to eat it all or else we weren't going to get anything else.
So stuff like this would have to be finished even if you didn't like it. [Ahh the joys of living in a military dictatorship.]
[Their attention draws a little closer at the last statement.] What have you had that was worse?
no subject
I can understand not having the choice in something, and I can relate to that too.
[Now about the cooking...]
Well, my friend likes to cook. He puts together combinations that are quite... off in terms of taste, to put it politely. Despite that, he's still very enthusiastic about the craft and I really respect that about him. [Once he's able to get down the concept of flavor profiles, she knows he'll make some good stuff.]
I'm sure one day he'll get the hang of it.

Sister Imperator (1969) | Ghost
The Sisters of Sin were at the local food fair and had many pies on parade, all of them named things like Satan's Strawberry or Blueberry Debauchery.
Sister Imperator was watching the tables amidst the fairgoers, ensuring that the Ghouls didn't eat the pies before they made it to the displays. ]
no subject
He does take in the offered wares though, and the fruit pies at Sister's table look well-made and at least there's a consistent marketing theme to them. His narrow chin gives a small jut towards the strawberry.]
How's the alliteration working out for you?
no subject
About as well as it does in amidst a populace afraid of Satan.
no subject
[At least, that's how he feels about many who worship at Ghezen's Hand. It's a means of clout and coin rather than real devotion.]
I'd say some also enjoy being tempted, but not as often in bright daylight markets.
no subject
[ Said on cue just as a gaggle of housewives gasped and hurried away upon spotting the Clergy's table. ]
As is the desire to taste the forbidden fruit.
[ Also said on cue as the husbands a step behind their wives eyed the Sisters of Sin. One of whom very obviously flashed them the middle finger. ]
Now, can I get you anything?
no subject
[The little gestures and askance glances in her direction are noted by him, but more filed away than penetrating his own opinions. After all, he's dealt with his own reputation preceding him for a long time now. It's less a matter of having one for good or ill - or both sometimes - than it is doing something efficient with it in his mind.
Kaz mostly eats out of efficiency as well, but he likes knowing what new things pop up in areas where he's in or visiting. Bonus points if it's food he can eat on the go.
A bit of money, enough to cover one of the goods, appears seemingly out of thin air, though a deft eye would simply catch him having nimble fingers.]
Is there a particular one that inspired the bake sale the most?
no subject
[ Sister Imperator's smile was dry.
Well, she certainly wasn't going to protest how he got the money as long as he paid for the pie. ]
Probably the Adam's Apple Pie. You can buy a slice or the whole pie.
no subject
[There's a momentary contemplation, but he supposes he could get the whole pie, so long as he glared at his crew later to forbid them from making a big deal about it.]
One whole pie, then. Angel Whipped topping on the side.
[Is that the real name for the cream or Kaz just putting it out there? Even odds.]

He reaches into a coat pocket for money once he’s made a decision.]
I’ll have a Blueberry Debauchery if one is for sale.
no subject
She nodded to the Sister of Sin at that table, and she went about putting the pie into a box for him. ]
You get the first one for free. Perks of being friends with the Prime Mover.
no subject
[Paul accepts the box and heads over to a nearby table to enjoy his blueberry pie. He’s polite but meticulous, and before long the pie is gone.
When he returns to the sale some time later with his money, he’s a little fatter than before, and very pleased. It’s not hard to tell where the Blueberry Debauchery is now. He’s calculated that he has room for another if he’s careful.]
Hmm. I’ll try a Satan’s Strawberry.
no subject
How was the Blueberry Debauchery?
[ She'd tested it herself and it had passed the demands of her palette, but she wanted to get his opinion.
The Sister of Sin in charge of the strawberry pies went ahead to package it for him as well, giving him a little extra cream as a treat. ]
no subject
It was delicious. I just had to have another after I finished it off - I don’t want it to be lonely, you know.
[He pats his stomach. Clearly it passed his taste test as well. He figures his coming back so soon was a sign of approval enough.
He notices the extra cream, accepting it with a smile and thanks before walking off to find a seat where he can put it away.]
no subject
You're right; it needs a partner in crime.
[ The Sister of Sin handed him his strawberry pie, looking quite pleased at the sales. People started to take note of Paul's appetite, and seeing how he ate the pies with gusto, tentatively began to line up as well. ]
Gluttony wouldn't be a sin or a problem if good food didn't exist, [ Sister Imperator told one housewife buying a pie, and the older lady looked shocked that someone had spoken to her like that.
Later on, one of the Sisters passed Paul a lemonade. She was the one who'd come up with the blueberry pie recipe and was pleased to have had such a resounding success thanks to him. ]
