how?

01 induction. a comfortable place, a confident touch, and all the right words to take you under. deep breath in, deep breath out, just lie back for the plain flavor, no gimmicks or special powers involved.

01 therapy something you want to remember? something you'd like to forget? quit smoking, eat healthier, be the best you you can be. whatever your reason, whatever your method, your subconsciousness needs a spring cleaning to improve your life.
02 in good fun you're really looking forward to this! it's a show, it's a party, or maybe it's just the two of you trying something new. entertaining, relaxing, maybe even hot and steamy. kick back, and enjoy the experience.
03 part of the job the latest corporate drug, another monster preying on people's minds, the third alien artifact you dug up this week. you've run into this before, and you will run into it again. but maybe this time is different. maybe this time something went wrong...

01 relaxation. all you want is to unwind, switch off, forget about your stress and worries for a while. close your eyes, you'll wake up feeling so refreshed. that is, unless somebody goes a little overboard with that happy and vacant smile...
02 transformation. bark like a dog. moo like a cow. put on this apron, you are the maid now. you're a robot, you're just a doll, you are the president of the world, an adorable baby, the perfect boyfriend- you are something or somebody you weren't before.
03 personality change. people don't change? we'll see about that! there must be some way to make you more assertive, less anxious, more honest, less unruly. maybe something could even change your evil ways! or your good ones, for that matter...

I'm only very vaguely familiar with how Sparkle's canon is, so I'd need a sense of how much of her awfulness would need to be toned down (if at all), but I do like submission/seduction, so maybe making her useful as a pet/mana battery somehow?]]

( awful-wise so far she does a lot of manipulation/trickery, refers to people by awful nicknames/refers to them in a pretty terrible way.

sparkle doesn't use magic and her theming is very much more puppeteering as she treats people like actors on a stage. )

[[I have a particular interest in playing out Konoka going on a quest/favor/errand for someone while being oblivious to it being used to ensnare her to the hypnotist's will. At the moment I'm uncertain on location, so if you wouldn't mind setting the stage there?]]

[ The quest that had been given was to go deliver some parcels to a particular theater.

Of course, that was just the trap: the place where the actress could ensnare her prey. And it was the perfect setting to create the perfect puppet - the star of the show.

The whole world is a play, after all, so crafting a the scenario for the scene is important. When she enters, the lights are dim but not completely dark; the stage one of the few bright lights to be seen. There seems to be a chair at the center along with a little sign that says: Put your parcels here! and has a little chibi doodle of Sparkle on the bottom right corner.

There also seems to be a sound playing in the background, almost like the slow beating of a heart - but in reality is just something to draw her in deeper. ]

Hello?

[ Well, this was the right place, right? It looked like it, but Konoka hadn't been to this particular theater before, so she had to double check (and also found herself getting lost at least once). The parcels she held were starting to feel a little heavy, so she hoped her destination wasn't too far in.

The dim lights and otherwise lack of any other activity made the theater feel a little haunting. Konoka was slightly wary but not so much that she suspected any foul play just yet. ]

I'm here! I brought the parcels like you wanted!

[ Still no answer.

However, Konoka did find the chair in the center. It stood out, being in the middle of the stage like that, and she figured it was a good spot to set her things down while she went searching for the proper destination.

...which turned out to be lucky when the chair was the proper destination! Konoka set both of them down and gave a sigh of relief, and it was only afterwards that she noticed the heartbeat sound. ]

Huh?

[ Curiously, she took some steps closer to see if she could figure out where that was coming from. ]

[ The sound reverberates, echoing through the ears like a binaural, hypnotic, almost relaxing sound. It's a theater, so it's coming from the speakers above.

And it's only then and there that the sound of a voice pipes through, low, enticing, unable to ignore: ]

Go ahead, take a seat.

Seat? Sure, I guess.

[ There was already questions blossoming in her mind. Who was speaking? Was it the person who requested the parcels? But the voice was so calm, so relaxing, that she doesn't find herself opposed to just humoring them and taking a seat.

But with that out of the way, Konoka's inquisitiveness returned. ]

What's going on?

[ Her soothing voice accompanied with the hypnotic background sounds are compelling. Of course, she doesn't seem to ignore her questions, answering them clearly, but just as slowly: ]

You do not need to be concerned. All you need to do is listen. Listen, and understand that what I say is true. You don't need to remember these words. Your subconscious will remember them for you.

Listen?

[ It seems odd, but not enough for Konoka's suspicion to rise. The voice is calm, trustworthy. It didn't seem to dismiss her, but just soothe her. What was wrong with sitting a while and listening?

Well, what she was listening to might be another concern, but Konoka didn't think much about it. ]

[ So Konoka sits calmly, almost primly, with her hands in her lap and her back mostly straight, but otherwise relaxed. ]

Viola's fairly kind and normally comes from a supernatural background, but I also like to toss around a sorority AU where she's with a sorority that uses hypnosis for a multitude of purposes, most of them dom/sub and/or sexually charged. Love the idea of it being fully consensual, with Natsuru just not realizing how far it'll go until she's in so deep nothing bothers her about it anymore. I'm a fan of the trances themselves being part of the fun so how it works is usually they'd put a lucky underclassman into a slightly tranced state to train them, and that's how it works here. Since you'd like to go into the fetish-y outfit route, maybe go for "keeping balance while wearing restrictive outfits", and/or "exercises to better endure bondage". But also yes, preserving Natsuru's innocence to a degree is a working plan.

It's not an insult, nothing personal, just part of the life that awaits those who are taken under Nu Sigma Delta's wing. A proliferate and yet enigmatic sorority on campus, their members are known for achieving results and a surprising amount of discipline in pursuing them, despite their seeming lack of militant rules. Their secret? Well, it wasn't like their latest recruit was going to remember the details.

"Oh, this one is a personal project!" Came the chirp of a dark-haired girl. "She was so cute when she said that she wanted to undergo one of our sisterhood training projects, so Ms. President chose me to oblige her." It wasn't that long ago that Viola went through a similar deal: an initially mind-numbing ritual that instilled the rules, the focus, and then the obedience to those that held their brain. They tested recruits, of course, ones that would take to this style of training with no ill effects, and Natsuru passed with flying colors. Now it was Viola's turn to train someone else.

As she closed the little notebook that served as Natsuru's brain and put it in her pocket for safekeeping, she snapped her fingers. Natsuru could snap out of her trance... for now. "C'mon, we need to do some training! A good number of these outfits will put your legs to the test, and we don't want you feeling bad after looking good, do we?"

[Very here for the sorority. How about: Hifumi volunteers for a 'we're staffing a party this weekend' sort of thing that imposes a personality shift. She's very subby anyway, but cranking that up to 11 is always nice. Not against perception screw as part of it, either!]

In her hand held a little notebook, one the ensnared junior thoroughly believed was her brain. "She's got a thing for maids. She tends to like cheerfulness, so I'm giving this one a... personality shift."

"Making her more like you? Figures," said the other girl.

"C'mon, I told Ms. President I won't give them my sense of humor, cross my heart and hope to die," Viola sang. "I admit if I'm being compared to, I probably make a good baseline, no? I'm just about done here." She turned her attention to the initiate.

"Rise. The writing is complete. You're a maid now. A positive being, you approach service with you all, grace and poise!" Viola snapped the notebook shut, and this would fully stir Hifumi out of her trance. "Party starts in an hour. We need to hurry up getting some finishing touches done."

Hifumi hadn't seen herself joining a sorority, but Nu Sigma Delta made quite the sales pitch. The girls in it seemed so happy, so determined, so successful~~, so very hot~~ - and, of course, her mother hated the very idea. There's little that can sell Hifumi on something faster than her mother hating it.

And, well. It certainly has provided benefits. Fully unlocking her interest in women, for one thing. And she learned pretty quickly that however this works, she likes it, which is part of why she volunteered to help out at this party.

Of course Viola holds Hifumi's mind in her hands. That's just the natural order of things.

As her mind snaps shut, Hifumi rises, ready to get to work. "Of course - oh, where's my uniform? It wouldn't do to show up not properly dressed!"

Oh, that definitely took. For all her experience here, Viola still marvels at how effective it is.

Further still, looking at Hifumi reminds her of herself, and not just because of faintly similar looks. Back when she'd underwent similar training, Viola had the same cheerful, seemingly vapid but laser focused look. She might not remember all the details, but she sure remembered how little she'd been distracted by anything else.

"Right this way, of course." Viola was already dressed for the occasion, her French maid outfit was comparatively conservative, but only because she was a bigger tease. Once they got to the closet where the uniforms were, Viola then added, "Strip."

"Our old alumni miss the days of being pampered by their younger juniors. Always remember to be soothing when talking to them, understand?" She said once she handed Hifumi her more teasing set. Unlike Viola, Hifumi's outfit bared her midriff and her skirt was shorter (and less black). But there were the same thigh high stockings and high heels.

"Of course. I'm here to serve, after all." And God, does the thought turn her on.

Hifumi strips without comment or concern that Viola's staying in the room with her (Viola has her mind with her, so of course she's going to be nearby), nor about the revealing nature of the outfit. That's just what maid uniforms are like. She's equally quick to get properly dressed - all the better to get out there and back to work.

Much of what she likes about these uniforms, both as an observer AND as an occasional wearer, was just how well they emphasized legs. The high heels weren't terribly high, but there had been plenty of training to make sure that Hifumi had kept her stride even and purposeful, to both look graceful and avoid mishaps. The fact that there were some concessions of comfort built into those heels went a surprisingly long way too. Hifumi might recall the steady 'steps', toys faintly buzzing away inside her, as reward for when she managed the stride just right.

The thing about putting students under when playing a role is reinforcement. Always be there to fill in the details. "You were born to serve. It's all you know." And as far as Hifumi believed, while she was under this role and contract, she was simply born to serve.

She does somewhat recall the training, more on an instinctual level than anything else. There are rewards for good service, for success in training, for being good.

Above all, she strives to be good.

"Of course." Hifumi slips into her heels, with that properly dressed. "Where am I needed first?"

[Her abilities might be able to qualify as 'Hypnosis', so she'll likely be the one doing the hypnotizing.]

[Probably the one being hypnotized! Feel free to do it for fun, to tease him, help him, or whatever have you. =3 ]

(ooc: She has the ability by using an umbrella with a fancy pattern on it. The big question will be why is she doing it? Has she been swayed to the dark side again? Is she showing off and gets carried away? Or maybe someone is trying to hypnotize her. She will resist, naturally, and she will be very angry once her head is clear, so be warned.)
