[ Mona trails off, a bit embarrassed. ]

[ Heizou couldn't help the chuckle in amusement at the pause. No words after making it funnier. ]

Well, I couldn't help myself when a beautiful miss catches my eye. But I must say I always keep to my word. [ A hand to his hip with a wink and smile. ] I can think of another one for you, if you'd like.

[ Mona is unfortunately very susceptible to praise. And that wink! Salacious. ]

You're teasing me, surely. Though, I will admit I'm flattered... Am I really as beautiful as to inspire such a saying?

[ There's a distinct pink in her cheeks. ]

( The detective gave a nod of his head at her inquiry. )

Of course you are, even a blind soul could find you absolutely beautiful. ( The subtle pink in her cheeks did bring a confident smile to his face. )

Are you a detective’s instinct? Because you’ve led me straight to you. ( He just chuckles at himself. ) I can give you another bold one if that's what you want.

[ Pleased, she gives a little giggle at that. ]

Thank you. That line was clever and cute, too. [ There's a small pause, and then Mona continues on, adding, ] ...You're also rather beautiful.

[ His beauty marks and full, black lashes are lovely. ]

Another bold one and we might get carried away.

[ In what way? Mona doesn't elaborate; it's her best attempt at flirting. ]

You're welcome. My instinct is never wrong. ( Heizou patted himself on the back for choosing a safe one at that moment, he didn't want her to think he was only interested in her for that. And she enjoyed it from the giggle that was quite cute and lovely sounding to the ears.

But he wasn't expecting a compliment for himself. )

( Oh, that flirt definitely caught his own attention, the slight innuendo catching him. )

Yeah? That is quite the tantalizing warning. ( Taking a long stare into her eyes for his next line, but also to just take in her presence. ) Your eyes hold the mystery of the moon, how about we unravel it under the stars tonight?

[ It surprises Mona when Heizou quiets, searching her eyes for a long, lingering moment before delivering his final line. In that time, she can feel heat crawling its way up her neck. It's embarrassing, but she's is admittedly enjoying this.

Still, her breath catches once he speaks. ]

Ah... [ Mona mumbles, flushing hotly. A smile is on her face despite the warmth. ] I can't refuse if you bring up the stars.

[ She steps forward and reaches out to gently take Heizou's hand in hers. It's bold, but she's doing her best. ]

You'll follow through, won't you?

I thought you'd appreciate that one.

( Heizou felt like the long stare and silence definitely helped in landing that line perfectly. A smile instantly appearing in return to her own, the blush on her cheeks made her look even more divine than he originally thought.

Raising his eyebrows with biting his bottom lip, pupils dilated staring into her eyes as she comes close and takes his hand. Taking it a step forward, he links their fingers and brings her hand up to his lips, never leaving her eyes. Giving the back of her hand a light kiss. )

With your permission, of course, I'd love to follow through with it. But only if you really want to with me.

[ A little shiver races up her spine as he presses a kiss to her gloved hand, the warmth of his skin felt even through that thin fabric. ]

Of course. I'll gladly give you permission, Heizou.

[ Mona's expression has softened, too. Delight is evident in her features, and she giggles softly again before leaning in to close the distance between their faces. Admittedly, Mona does not have the confidence to capture a kiss herself. She lingers instead, her large, seafoam green eyes peering up from under her lashes.

Her voice is quieter when she speaks. ]

Kiss me.

( Hazel staring into the green of her eyes unique to her, instinctively wrapping his free arm around the curve of her waist to pull her close. Feeling the puff of her breath against his face. The way she looked at him like that sent a shiver through his spine.

His attention entirely on her, Madame Kujou Sara could come and demand his attention to a case and he would not remove his focus off of Mona. Bringing his lips close to hers as he hears her request.

With confidence of her permission and request, he'd gladly take the reigns, giving her what she wanted. What they both wanted. Pressing his lips over her own, immediately sighing at the feeling of her softer lips, so sweet against his. Unable to help himself pulling her so flush against him, just taking in her presence, her scent, the feeling of her body against his, lips sliding over each other. )

[ A hand loops around Mona's waist, and then she's tugged forward into Heizou's arms. She can't stifle another blush now that they are so close in proximity. And resting her hands on his chest, Mona tilts her chin to look at his soft features, thinking to herself that he really is a pretty man.

Heizou soon leans in and captures her lips. He feels warm in the best of ways. Mona immediately melts from the soft pressure of him, balancing on the toes of her heels in an attempt at returning the kiss as best as she can. Can he hear how loudly her heart is pounding?

It's embarrassing, but she's pleased by his forwardness. ]

Heizou... [ It's a mumble against his lips, fingers curling into his clothes. ] Again.

( If he could, he'd have her blushing all the time, the pink burning complimenting her so nicely. To hold her close, feeling her hands against his chest. She was absolutely breathtaking and to feel her kiss. He leans down a bit to make it easier for her, just keeping her close. Despite his confidence and forwardness, his heart also was pounding against his chest.

What with a beautiful girl accepting his affections for her like this. And to ask again like that, against his lips, it brought a smile to his face. With that he leans down again to press another kiss, this time longer and the slide of his lips against hers.

Whatever she wishes, he'll provide. And his free hand cupping the side of her face to hold it stroke her red cheeks. ]

I memorized how you responded last time I touched you.

Wanna see how pretty my makeup is after you've ruined it off of me?

[ He traces the outline of their lips, half-lidded eyes lingering there before peering upright with suggestion. ]

Cursed to put my hands on everything... including you.

[ she knows it's bad. but she's got that roguish confidence about her when she says it so... ]
