Space Opera

Space Opera refers to works set in a spacefaring civilization, usually set in the far future or A Long Time Ago, in a Galaxy Far Far Away.... Technology is ubiquitous and secondary to the story. Space opera has an epic character to it: the universe is big, there are usually many sprawling civilizations and empires, there are political conflicts and intrigue.
1. Slice of Spacefaring Life
It's life, but on a spaceship! An interstellar journey could take hundreds of years, so you have some time to relax and take it easy. Do a little aeroponic gardening, enjoy stargazing from the bar, or immerse yourself in studying the latest nebula you're passing through.
2. R&R
After being cooped up for days, weeks, or years, you and the crew are finally sliding into the nearest space station, colony, or commercial hub for a little break. Enjoy shopping, restaurants, and resorts!
3. Space Piracy
You're a bit of a rogue, but you like the independent life cruising among the stars and taking whatever you can find. It's only a crime if you get caught, right?
4. Space Military
Perhaps you're on the opposite end of the spectrum, and you prefer tight-laced uniforms and adherence to regulation. Enjoy political intrigue, internal and external strife, morally dubious empire building, and mecha battles!
5. Sleeper Ship
You're on a very long journey, so long that most if not all of the crew have been put on ice for the trip. Whether by accident or design, you're awake - is anyone else up?
6. Emergency!
Something has gone wrong! Your colony is under attack, or maybe the hull of your ship has been blown out by a passing asteroid. Can you repair the warp drive in time?!
7. Arrival
At long last, solid ground! Get out there, it's a brand new (or new to you) planet or colony to explore! Maybe even a new species to meet or civilization to study. You're not wearing a red shirt, are you?
8. Intergalactic Bar
Your standard hive of scum and villainy.
9. Space Brothel
What it says on the tin. Get your xeno on!
10. Wildcard
Anything goes!

Blade | Honkai Star Rail
Stelle | Honkai Star Rail | OTA, F/M preferred for ships
feyd-rautha harkonnen | dune | ota
ARID | The Fall: Unbound | OTA
Phantom | Arknights
That aside, I am fine with crosscanon and assumed CRs, although be warned: I will be slower than a snail in terms of tagging/replying speed.
Phantom himself will be a mercenary/rogue assassin for most scenarios, although he could also play another role (depending on the scenario), such as a Space Prince (who's actually adopted or concealing his true identity), a military intelligence officer, an intergalactic superstar...it depends on the scenario, really. He's quite flexible. Let me know which one/what you'd prefer if you have any preference for his role. ]
Paul Atreides | Dune
7 : Arrival
He barely had time to look around when the guards caught him and dragged him off, despite his protests and attempts at explanation. Apparently he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. "Look, I'm an archeologist, not a vandal! Please, won't someone listen to me??"
Maedhros | the Silmarillion | OTA
Camden Bowe | Sci-fi OC | M/M
vash | trigun stampede
happy to AU into other space opera canons (i'm reasonably familiar with many) or in trigun-verse! ]
