Baby, you’re perfect

find the word.
+ top level with your person. prefs/canon info/etc.+ other people will reply with the first word that comes to their character's mind to describe yours. it could be about their appearance (consider this an 'are they beautiful?' meme if you wanna), their personality, or the mystique that may or may not surround (they're...interesting). break out the thesaurus.
+ your person reacts.
+ thread.

Yes. And honey can be all sorts of colors. All due to various things, one of which being what kind of flowers the bees collect from. [ Shika pauses a beat before speaking again; Maintaining a matter of fact sort of tone. ] To be specific, your hair reminds me of honey made from Acacia. They look like...little bundles of sunlight.

I always thought that was what my hair looked like. ( modesty, sylvie... ) You described it perfectly!

It's simply what first came to mind.

( it's asked completely without ridicule or sarcasm. genuine wonder. )

Sometimes. I spend a lot of my time studying plants when I travel. One of my sisters makes honey as a hobby. Insists that there’s nothing else like it, and she’s right about it.
[ A pause. ]
Have you ever had it homemade before?

( excuse her, it's been fifteen years at least. )

I brought these with me from my hometown. [ Carefully, Shika offers one to her. ] We grow lots of these there. Have one if you'd like. I know they look like tomatoes, but I promise, they don't taste anything like them.
[ Besides, there's way Shika could eat so many in a week. There's no harm in sharing, she figures, this one seems kind. ]

It's beautiful! ( she sighs happily. ) Look at that colour! Like a sunset...
( meeting the girl's gaze, she cocks her head. )
How sweet of you.

It's nothing, really. I'm spoiled rotten with so many of these. It'd be selfish not to share.
[ Shika digs her hands into the band of fabric wrapped around her waist and pulls out a small carving knife. With measured cuts, she slices one of the persimmons, then offers the young lady a slice.]
Here you are.

it's a whole other taste experience. it tastes like nothing she's ever had before, it tastes nothing like tomato. she clasps her right hand over her mouth, chewing quickly to get more of the flavour, then swallows, wide-eyed with wonder. removing her hand, she says, )
How delightful! It's like a whole meal in one little fruit!

Yes, I think so too. So it's ideal for traveling long distances.
[ Shika regards the room surrounding them: a shared kitchen at an unassuming bed and breakfast in a town with more empty buildings than occupied ones. ]
Where might you be heading to? North...?
[ She nearly forms a name at the tip of her tongue. Until she realizes they hadn't exchanged such courtesies yet. A soft oh escapes Shika, and she cuts back in with a palm splayed across her heart. ]
Ah. I'm Shika.
