[This retreat to Hyrule was a great idea. Apart from the odd Bokoblin scare, it had been pretty flawless: Fine dining and ocean tours at Lurelin, a guided tour through parts of the castle, hang-gliding over the Death Mountain range, and a horseback group ride to Hateno where the Hylian street festival just happened to be on its first day. A perfect getaway.

Jim was strolling among the stands, sampling local foods, mingling with other visitors, and loading up on handcrafted souvenirs, when he suddenly does a double take as he passes the queue with royal banners and an especially long queue...Zelda!? THE Zelda!?

He takes his place in line just to try to get a better look at the Princess and sage of legend. It isn't even until he gets near the front that he even realizes what the booth is: a kiss for donations. He suddenly begins to feel nervous. It didn't occur to him that people still did these.

When he gets to the front and his eyes meet hers, he quickly throws down some of the larger value rupees in his wallet.]

"Er-...evening your highness. Wow, this-...this is an honor. I'm very happy to support your school, and I assure you I won't be seein' my donation as a pass to get fresh."

[God, he sounds like an idiot in front of her. Like the nervous 12-year-old at a convention meet and greet all over again.]

[Dark Schneider stands behind the counter of his booth. On the counter itself is a chubby looking baby dragon named Lars. The poor baby boy looks a bit under the weather, twitching every now and again as DS winds up and gets ready to belt out his pitch for kisses.]

Help save this wounded animal and friend of mine! All smooch money will go towards fetching this little fellow a healer! Or at the very least, a really great masseuse! Prices as low as a dollar--unless you're ugly! A surcharge may then be applied!

[The baby dragon groans and makes a couple noises that sound like little grunts. He's talking, but only Dark Schneider can understand him. In reality this baby dragon is Prince Lars Metallicana, one of the great heroes from the past that had to combine forces to take down the legendary wizard! The method he chose to do so resulted in a curse, so he now flaps about as a round and sort of cute baby dragon! He currently follows DS around from time to time to make sure he doesn't get up to too much trouble, although admittedly he can't really stop him in the dragon form.

Which leads us to now: Dark Schneider spiked his cute dragon ass into the ground like a volleyball and carried Lars to a booth in order to get himself some kisses.]

[ A mischievous grin curls the upper lip of the bake-danuki as she wanders over to Schneider's booth, eyeing the tubby dragon more than the man. As soon as Mamizou steps close enough one of her underlings bounces off her tail and lands down on the table. Her eyes curiously peer toward the dragon before the raccoon dog aggressively jumps at him in an attempt to tackle him off the table.

By that point Mamizou turns her eyes back to Dark Schneider, regardless of the outcome of the tanuki's attempt. ]

[ooc: I know the meme is a week old and it's fine if you're not interested anyway but I just kept thinking this could be fun. This is Jack Rackham from Black Sails and I'm rusty with him.]

Jack is overseeing his ship, The Colonial Dawn, being stocked with supplies when he's suddenly distracted by the sight of a young, red-headed woman selling kisses. It's not his business to meddle but... it bothers him. So he makes these awkward attempts to go and talk to her, wavering left and right, shifting weight from one foot to another and glancing her way ever so often. Little by little he eases closer and it wouldn't be surprising if she's already noticed him doing so. Even when he's only a few feet away he keeps pretending to be looking at something else until finally he speaks up.

"Is that wise? A young lady like yourself... a port like this?" He gestures around him, frowning. It's a rathole of a place, full of the most dispicable characters to be found on earth. Present company excluded obviously.

"You're just inviting trouble. Not to mention you do not want to be kissing anyone here. Trust me."
