How did it end up like this? You don't know, or maybe you do. The point is, you're stuck inside a closet with a friend, enemy, idol, stranger or someone you only know by sight. The door is locked inside the tight little room, and as if by magic, you both know the only way to open it is by kissing for seven minutes straight. Yes. One kiss won't cut it. No pecks on the cheek, either. You gotta make it count.

[ Gods help him, he only has so many morsels to put into Luffy's face until he needs to reconcile with whatever this is. The first is going to be a sandwich cracker, pulled from the front of his coat. ]

There's a way to get out of this.

[Luffy is nowhere near as concerned about the situation as Sanji appears to be. He is fully just vibing: no thoughts, head empty, isn't this a nice closet? He absolutely lights up like a Christmas tree when the poor man produces food as a distraction, though. Grabby hands incoming!]

I thought the kissing thing was the way out?

[Of course Luffy would put it as bluntly as that, sounding like he doesn't have a care in the world. Deepest apologies to Sanji's ongoing crisis.]

[ Luffy is never as concerned as Sanji would like him to be, but he makes it work. That's why he is the captain and Sanji is forever wondering how he's going to balance the crew needs versus Luffy's black hole.

[Luffy is rarely ever suspicious about his circumstances no matter how far-fetched, which (strangely enough) seems to get him out of just as many pickles as it gets him into. He hadn't even questioned the fact that he just Knew kissing was the way out, but in retrospect it's a little weird.] Okay, what else do you want to try? The door is locked, isn't it?
