[ seven years is a long time to be gone. it's not that he wanted to be gone, but a lot of things all happened at once and he was... indisposed until he showed back up in Pentagram City with a sharper smile and fresh new orders attached to his leash.

but there's no clause in the orders that says he can't take a detour first, so once he's gotten his bearings back and sorted neatly he heads straight to the tower. he's surprised that the doorman's been around long enough to just let him in, but he takes it for what it is.

and of course, it's meant to be a surprise. so he slithers his way up and up and up to vox's office as little more than a shadow on the wall until he can slip under the door and reform properly behind the chair, draping his arms over the back of it and leaning in very, very close to murmur into vox's "ear" with the softest hint of static and a warmness to his tone. ]

he has her repeat what she says, and she's talking about... a hotel? to rehabilitate sinners? that she's apparently told him about before, but he doesn't recall. he's sure he would have, because he would have told her what a foolish idea it was.

which is what he does now, and she just gets frustrated, reminding him she never asks him for anything, how all she wants is a meeting with heaven, and he grits his teeth but agrees to come see the hotel so he can make a proper assessment of the place. ]

[ and he is, knocking and being let in and crushed in a hug by his daughter, which gives him a small bit of hope that he can talk her out of this as he returns the hug quite a bit more primly, but he does stroke a hand over her hair and touch his cheek to the crown of her head between her ears before straightening. ]

Outside of PTN canon, he has a Nikke verse as the Commandant, a general verse as a professor at a college, another gen verse as a part of law enforcement, and an idol verse, but I'm open to discussing other potential verses to throw him into!]
