"Take your time. No rush." She said while rinsing the dish. Look, if he wanted an excuse to take care of his business, now was the time. She was just going to go kick herself in the other room for babbling again.
What did she even mean? Where was that sentence going to go? She took a dishtowel and started to wipe down the countertops to try to sort out her head. She tossed the rag down and went to go flop on the couch until he was ready because thinking about it now was going to make her head hurt.
