Obsession
Love and lust are all very well and good, but this meme is for when that white-hot desire tips into something darker, an all-consuming fire that licks at your every thought, that clenches around your every breath. It may be one-sided or it may be reciprocal, you may be the object or the subject or both simultaneously, but at least one of you is obsessed.
You can think of nothing but them. Your world, your heart, your very existence revolves around them.
Subject
1. Innocent yearning - They are unreachable, untouchable, or perhaps you're merely too shy. You're resigned to the certainty that they will never be yours, but you'd still dedicate your life to make them happy. Little gifts, remembering their birthday, you'll be their best friend, their Cyrano, you'll be their shoulder to cry on or maybe you'll only ever watch them from across the office and make sure that one of the morning donuts always makes it anonymously to their desk before they're all eaten.
2. Win their heart - You're going to marry them. Sure, they don't know it yet. Sure, they don't even know you exist. But you've got a plan, and you're going to use every resource in your power to win their heart. No matter what it takes. Their happiness is all important, and the best way to ensure that is to make sure they know how worthy they are of being loved.
3. Stalker - They belong to you. They may not know it, they may even disagree, but they are yours. It's okay. You're content--at least for now--to watch them from afar. To deliver notes and gifts--threats, if they dare to object to your ideas of romance, if they dare to date anyone else--to oversee their safety and even to mastermind minor adjustments in their life to ensure that everything goes... according to plan.

A. The sun in my sky - Your everyday existence may be dull and drab, but you have one glittering prize in your life. Your love, your partner, your everything. You can get through the daily grind, through the indignities of your life, because you know you're coming home to them.
B. Forbidden - You're in love and it's requited, but that doesn't make them any more accessible to you. Wealth, class, or perhaps an inconvenient marriage is keeping the two of you apart. You'll have to conduct your affair in secret, with your obsession compelling you to take greater and greater risks, until you find a way to run away together -- or until you're caught.
C. Partners in Crime - What's more romantic than a crime spree? You're partners in crime, and what a thrill that is! It certainly spices up your love life. You trust them entirely, they're the other half of you, and they're every bit as wicked as you. It feels as though you're both untouchable, and surely you are. You'll never be caught. Neither of you will ever be hurt.
D. On the Run - You're young, you're in love, and you're free, but you know it can't last. You're on the run, and your stars are crossed. Sooner or later you're going to come to a bad end, but until then you've got this hotel room, this night, this car and the open road. If anyone wants to separate you, they're going to have to catch you first.

Enchantment - A love spell can serve to create obsession where none existed before, and now you have a devoted slave, as long as the spell doesn't backfire.
An Unholy Bargain - You've sworn yourself to an angel, a devil, a cause, a country, a witch, a place, and they are the embodiment of that vow. You're sworn to them inescapably, and the terms of your bargain press you with the sweetest compulsion. It may not be real, but it's love, and it's undeniable.

As far as Catra's concerned, everything's going great.
Sure, Shadow Weaver's in one of the holding cells back in the Fright Zone, but Catra mostly counts that as a plus. And yeah, okay, most Horde soldiers are complete imbeciles who wouldn't know their elbow from a septic pipe if they were hit in the face with one, but she's gotten used to that, and has just started counting on herself and the few dubious good cannon fodder she can find. She's working her way up the ranks. Force Captain now, and she knows much more is to come. She knows she can do it.
The one splinter in her side is Adora.
It's always Adora. She's the first thing Catra thinks about when she wakes up, when her bed's too empty and she can't hear Adora's familiar breathing. She's the last thing Catra thinks about at night, when she settles down to sleep with her head on the pillow instead of curled up at the end of a bunk. And she's about 50% of the reason that Catra has to keep reworking plans to conquer territory.
Today, Catra has one up on her. Some Horde scouts had found an old building in the forest that looked like it might be First Ones tech, and she knows word will have gotten back to the Rebels, so she gets there first. Seated on a Horde robot, Catra looks way too casual, cheek propped on her hand, tail curled idly behind her, smiling slyly as Adora makes her approach. Catra's blocking the doorway. There's no way in, except through her.
"Hey, Adora," she drawls. "Looking for this? You're too late, I already put my name on it, so it's mine." (She has, in fact, scratched 'Catra' on the outside wall. Because it was funny.) "Maybe I'll let you have the next one we find."

Stealth isn't exactly her strong suit and she knows it- But it still catches her by surprise when she hears Catra's voice. As much as she liked to believe that she had left that life behind her. She still missed the familiar warmth of the other girl at the end of her bed. Still missed the way they would get into trouble together. Still missed the friendship and security she found in her former friend.
Only once the shiver has finished crawling up her spine, she strikes a ready stance and takes a hold of the sword at her back.
"Ha ha. Very funny." It's not funny. This is about the worst case scenerio as far as she's concerned. "Stand aside, I don't want to hurt you." There's a pause before a more pleading tone hits her voice. "Please."

She finds it hard to predict Adora these days. Back when Adora was in the Horde, Catra knew her so well that she could always tell if she'd turn left or right, choose offense or defense, if she'd jump or duck or spin. Catra knew her routines like she knew the back of her own hand.
Now, she's... different. She thinks she's a big hero. She's got those two idiots behind her and she can turn into a giant Princess, so her strength is off the charts now and it's changed how she fights. It's changed how she approaches situations. So Catra doesn't know if she really will attack right now, which is a little scary, but also thrilling.
"It's just a stupid old ruin, there's probably nothing in there anyway," Catra scoffs. "Why do you want it so bad?"

At the end of the day Adora just missed her friend, and it was hard to come to terms with the fact she might never get it back. It's why she raises the sword at Catra, but feels a vague shake in her arm as she points it her way.
"Because if there is something in there, I want to use it to help people." There's a sense of pleading in her tone. "Don't you want that too?"
There's another pause. She let's the moment sit before she adds in.
"I don't want to fight you, Catra."

Please note that Sherry is a dragon and has some features that might stick out. His ears are pointed like an elf, and his eyes are shaped like a cat.

If we need a catalyst, Tifa runs a popular bar named Seventh Heaven. She's friendly, warm, and thought to be very cute so that may catch someone's attention. )

It's hardly the first time Tetsuo has gone (way, way) out of his way to do something nice for Tifa, especially since he managed to snag her a rose from someone's upper plate garden. A little worried he might be making her feel pressured due to his attention being too obvious, though, he's tried to be a bit stealthier about it. When the opportunity arises to make something easier for her, whether a vendor being slow with deliveries or a water filter customer trying to rip her off, he quietly jumps to try and sort things out, and he makes a point to sneak her gifts she might enjoy, especially more rare flowers, since she seemed to like that first one.
Of course, he's not exactly a spymaster or even all that subtle. He might sneak flowers to her when she's not looking, but who else has managed to bring her flowers, much less do it even a little bit secretly? That, and he's pretty obviously very happy whenever he spots her seeming pleased about something he's done. Not to mention that just because she's not looking, it doesn't mean nobody sees him, and her friends with an outside perspective can probably connect any dots that she doesn't notice.
Not that they're telling him about it, of course, so he's still perfectly content to "secretly" do little (or not-so-little) things to brighten her days a bit. Today, he's smuggling her a white carnation (it should go with her fashion sense, right?). Once she has to step into the back room for a moment, he sneaks over to the bar, takes a quick look around to make sure nobody's staring directly at him or anything, and reaches to slip the flower behind the counter for her to find, ready to sneak back over to his table and play innocent.
