[Without prefacing anything as a joke -- as he feels it'll lessen the impact of it -- Zack just goes in with the set-up, casually moving around because he's always full of excess energy.]

So, a husband and his pregnant wife are in the hospital when the wife's water breaks and she goes into labor. The doctor presents them with a new device that can transfer the wife's labor pains to the husband so she doesn't have to endure it alone. Husband agrees to it, wanting to not only help his wife, but to also finally get to see what the big fuss about labor pains is all about.

So, the labor and delivery starts, and the device is set up so husband gets about twenty-five percent of the wife's pains. He feels absolutely nothing.

The doctor cranks it up to fifty percent. Still, nothing.

Husband's like, 'this is what women have been complaining about all this time? I don't feel a thing! Crank it up, doc! All the way!'

So the doctor agrees, and switches the device so that the husband gets one hundred percent of all the labor pains.

Get this: he feels nothing!

The delivery goes as planned and without problems. Husband's smirking the entire time and he's super proud because now they have a beautiful and healthy baby, his wife is fine, and he was able to prove that men are able to withstand the pain of labor.

[Zack comes to a stop, facing Piccolo with a grin. Time for the coup-de-grace.]

And when they finally get home, they find the mailman dead at their front door!

[ Piccolo's lips don't even twitch. He spends the whole time staring with his arms crossed, looking less impressed by the word.

A cold wind blows between them before Piccolo speaks. ]

You said it wrong. You said it would be shared with the 'husband', not the 'father.' So it doesn't make sense.

[ He expects jokes to make sense. Do you see the challenge here, Zack? ]

[Okay, this guy's big, green, and ugly. Buson's a little reckless, but he's not dumb (honest!!!), so a fight sounds like a bad idea.

He looks reaaaally sour, so a joke might be fun, but cooking sounds easier... but maybe he shouldn't take the easy option, so he doesn't look like a big baby?! (Buson's insecure.)]
