Workers, when they, well, work someone there is... blowback. Like when a death worker kills someone, some part of them dies too. A tooth, a finger, themselves if they are really unfortunate. Same with all the rest -- luck workers lose their luck, emotion workers turn into pms-ing psychos, physical workers get sick or hurt, and transformation workers... its just gross, but you can imagine.
