[ Crazily, Roy has already been up since half five, but then he's always been an early bird, his body used to waking up early to train for football. He managed not to wake Barbie before slipping out of the house to train with Jamie for a couple of hours. Maybe Roy was going soft for letting Jamie convince him to meet at six instead of four, but the fact that he was dating Barbie now meant he had a couple more hours in bed with her whenever she stayed the night, so he'd been easily swayed.

He's back at the house by eight and heads straight for his bedroom, relieved to see Barbie still under the covers. He kicks off his shoes before quietly climbing back into bed in his tracksuit. He's a little sweaty but nowhere near as bad as Jamie since their morning workout was more about making Jamie sweat than him.

He slips an arm around her waist from behind and when he feels her begin to stir, he presses a kiss to her shoulder. ]
