( It had kind of become a thing. Every week, Steve would stop by Eddie's trailer with a movie courtesy of Family Video, and they'd watch it, smoke a joint, and part ways. It was an excuse to shoot the shit and check in with each other now that Nancy and Robin had left Hawkins, onto bigger and better things. Occasionally, they'd relocate to Steve's and involve the kids (minus the weed, of course), but most often, Eddie's trailer housed their movie nights.

Tonight's entertainment wasn't bad per se, but Eddie hadn't been sleeping well, and it wasn't Steve's usual action-packed choice. It was slow-going with a calming score. How was Eddie supposed to do anything besides fall asleep?

Which would generally be fine. It wouldn't be the first time Eddie had fallen asleep at one of these. Usually, though, he didn't fall asleep on Steve. At first, he was fine but slowly tipped over until he was practically half on top of the poor guy. And damn if Steve wasn't the most comfortable sleeping cushion right now. )
