I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

① kidnapped for ransom - everyone wants to make a quick buck. and what quicker way is there than ransoming someones life. Not that everything always goes to plan. Let's just hope that everyone comes out alive and happy.
② kidnapped for revenge - Someone was on the wrong side. Maybe it's the significant other of an Ex. Maybe it's the Ex themselves. Or perhaps it's even more complicated than that. Either way, there's nothing sweeter.
③ cracknapping - Okay, so you didn't mean to drink that much, but now you have woken up in a room with a bunch of mascots from the game and what is going on?
④ kidnapped for help - We need you help. Whether you're willingly up to offer it or not.
⑤ kidnapped for their own good - Want to get you out of a bad situation. It's for your own good. Trust us. You're safe now, you won't be hurt any more.
⑥accidental kidnapping - okay. so this wasn't... exactly what was planned. But looks like we've got an extra person now. W H O O P S ???
⑦ wildcard - Anyway you want it.

[ Ranboo is actually canonically being held within a facility where they're forced to perform in live shows for an audience; I am totally up for setting up a crosscanon thing where your character gets taken by the same company, OR breaks in to rescue them/they work together to break out of it!

If you need more information about the company that's holding him, I'm more than willing to help explain and give some screenshots to help show you what the facility looks like. ]

This character canonically runs into it from time to time, given that she comes from a rich family, and also magically inclined. She spends the end of her canon attempting to solve magical mysteries, so snooping into trouble works too!]]

The Umbral Elithri opened the door where the captive was confined. He closed the door behind him before moving closer. The room she was kept in was modest. It had a small bed and cubes of voidstone illuminated via magic, creating dark blue light that worked better than a candle. He had a mug in his hands, filled with liquid. Offering it to her, Nivahn was more gentle than the other captors.

"You'll be out of here soon," he assured her. "Well, if things go right." Nivahn hoped things went right. After all, Caind'r was quick to anger and Eleni preferred to get rid of loose ends. The Umbral Elithri shook his head then, sitting in a chair finally. "What were you doing in my laboratory anyway?" he asked.

"Um, I'm lost!" There was still a little defensiveness in her voice, but as far as Konoka believed, there was no lie. She really was lost. She had no idea how she wound up in this building outside "teleport mishap" (and it wasn't her first rodeo of getting thrown in a random direction, either). Being captured by whoever these people were couldn't be good, even if at least one of them was merciful. How could she possibly be a threat to them, overwhelmed by alien magic and bound to this chair?

"I dunno if you'd believe me, but I was drawn here somehow. Like my body had been pulled towards that lab. I felt something there, so I guess that was why I was in there?" This was the most she could understand, since much of this building wasn't anything like she'd seen before, even with her travels to an entirely magical country.

Nivahn looked at the woman curiously at her defensiveness. Sighing, he undid the shadowbinds and handed her the warm cup. "Drink," he said. "It's tea." He believed her, but he knew the other two would not.

"That makes sense..." He had been doing experiments involving traveling between other worlds and times in the laboratory. Her being there meant one thing -- his experiments worked. "What did you experience?" he asked, curiosity piqued.

With the binds disappearing, Konoka could actually move, so she could at least try the tea. As she brought it to her lips, she did consider running, but felt that she wouldn't be getting very far. It was better to lean on this man and hope he'd convince the others with him.

"Ummm, it's very hard to describe," Konoka answered, not perfectly confident. "I think the best way I could put it is like a tug that pulls your very soul. I felt that when I was pulled into this world."

[She can be Drastic Measures timeframe or AU'd forward into Discovery proper. Or just AU'd in general, honestly. Probably a kidnappee.
