princess and knight

your princess

It's fairly simple, really, no royalty required. One of you is the "princess:" sweet, gentle, possibly energetic, always full of life and innocence. The other is the "knight:" stoic, or at least serious about protecting that one special person, dedicated, strong, a fighter. And the two of you are in love, even if one...less expressive than the other. Together romantically or not, there's something that connects you, most likely a driving need to protect.

But don't let the normal conventions full you, the "princess" (or "prince," as it may be, because the terms here are gender neutral) is just as important. Someone has look to the emotional well-being and happiness of the "knight," and often, those "knights" need a lot of help.

((OOC; More likely to play out the part of the knight, but will be your pricess if you treat him well enough ;) ))

[The shittiest little knight or the prissiest little princess.]

[Absolutely the knight.]

[He literally is a knight and treats anyone he loves like royalty. But it might be fun to see someone more knight-like treat him like a princess.]

[He wants to be the knight so badly, but I'm open to playing him as the prince.]

[Koujaku is probably more knight like.]

[Connor doesn't remember exactly when Koujaku was semi-permanently assigned to him. He just always remembers the knight being present and knowing that nothing would happen as long as Koujaku was around. That sentiment was comforting when Connor was younger, but it's become maddening as he's gotten older.

It would be that his parents chose a very upstanding and serious knight who is also the hottest person Connor has ever seen.]

One kiss. Kisses can be friendly, right?

[This is just what happens when you're eighteen-almost-nineteen, you've never been outside your kingdom, hardly go outside your room, and you are desperately horny.]

[The prince with a princess.]

Davy had been out and came in a flurry of purple and black. He was wearing a new long, purple lace coat and carrying a pot of miniature roses. He's pissed and it shows on his face and amplified by the fact he has a tear in the sleeve if his new coat. It's not big and he could fix it but it was principle. He put down the roses gently then flew off to the kitchen, stomping and angry.

Sven was already inside the kitchen making him and Davy a hot drink when he heard footsteps behind him. Davy had come back but it was clear to the Swede that something was up.

Oh.

That tarty look. Something had happened. Shit. Sven now frowning and waiting for the explosion of tart because he knew Davy and those faces meant that.

"Princess?"

Davy went straight to pouring a drink.

"I'm fine." But just the snap in his voice would be enough to tell him that Davy was very upset. He had a couple broken nails and took a big drink if whatever alcohol he had grabbed.

The snap in Davy's voice was enough to tell the Swede that his boyfriend was not fine at all. Bullshit. He was upset and Sven knew it.

"Bullshit. You're upset. What happened?"

Davy never drank a lot like this so Sven knew something was up. Had some fuckhead upset him?

Davy crossed his arms protectively after emptying the glass. His fingers playing at the tear in the bicep of his coat. There's blood on the tip of his one finger where the nail had broken too short.

"It's fine now." It wasn't and Davy was panicked and refused to look at Sven. "I'm going to go lay down."

"No, you're not fine."

Sven just rolled his eyes at Davy's tarty attitude but knew something was up with him. They were boyfriends now so shared things--that's how it worked in Sven's eyes. Yet, trying to get the little princess to talk when he was upset was like getting blood from a stone.

"What the fuck happened, sweets?"

Davy just shook his head and leaned into Sven, arms still crossed tightly. He didn't want to talk. As he leaned in the put his head in Sven's shoulder, the jacket bunched and Sven might get a glimpse of the bruising on his collar bone near the shoulder.

"I took care of it." Sort of or for now more correctly but Davy was scared from what happened today.

Sven instantly pulled Davy close, kissing the boy's forehead and then noticing the bruising on his collar, causing the Swede to narrow his eyes. Was that a new injury? Fuck. Someone had hurt Davy.

"You're hurt. Did someone attack you, babe? You're bruised and your coat is damaged."

The Swede was trying his best to stay calm and not fly off the handle as he'd done in the past but inside he was starting to boil. Anger now flaring up at the indications he was getting. The sad part was that he'd seen young boys at his whorehouse getting beaten up by clients and not saying a word. Of course Sven had paid said clients a "visit" after hours, making sure they never touched another one of his whore friends again.

"It's not bad." Davy mumbled as he leaned heavily on Sven. "I need to fix my coat."

Davy finally uncrossed his arms to play with the ends of Sven's hair.

"No, it's not on the outside. A few bruises and an ego damaged but I'm not interested in the coat, Davy. It's you and how you're acting right now. Scared and upset. I'm your boyfriend and I love you."

Sven stroking Davy's dark hair softly.

"What happened, sweetie? You can tell me."

"I'll be fine." Davy didn't want to tell Sven what was happening. He just wanted to forget about it. The hair stroking felt nice.

"No." Davy shook his head again. He didn't want Sven to get upset.

Davy wasn't saying anything so this just caused Sven to think something more serious was going on. He'd come home visibly upset and agitated which wasn't like the boy at all. Only if something had gotten under his skin was he this quiet.

"I know and you know that you're not fine. You're everything to me and this--"

Sven pointing to the bruise on Davy's body.

"--isn't fine. What the fuck is going on, babe? Why is there a security camera now above our apartment in the hallway too? I was going to ask you about that."

It was more out of curiosity than anything.

Davy was silent for a long time before pulling away. He didn't want to mention what was happening.

"Robert and Damien put the camera in but Martyn suggested it." Davy mentioned which was true. He poured another drink. "Therapy has been a lot."

Sven just let Davy pour another drink as he talked about his therapy sessions with Martyn and how they'd been helping. This was a start as the princess was still talking at least and hadn't shut the door on Sven yet.

"I'm just wondering what prompted for it to be put up in the first place since no other room has one except us."

The Swede was suspicious and Davy's whole secrecy was annoying as hell but he was trying to stay calm.

"How are the sessions going?"

Davy too a drink and shrugged. "They're ok."

He didn't want to say it but Sven kept pushing. "Martyn had them put up because.. the person who assaulted me last year has been around."

He waited for the explosion from Sven even before the Swede knew what happened today.
