[ if merlin thinks that'll keep arthur from advancing, he's wrong. he reaches for the trousers despite their new placement behind merlin's back, and he doesn't mind pressing against the boy to do so. merlin, you are just lucky your shirt reaches down to arthur's upper thigh… though also not lucky, because there's still contact. ]
