DON'T CRY

Whether they're a crush you've yet to fully approach or a significant other, it's never easy to see the person you like unhappy. You want them to be content all the time, especially around you! So seeing them cry is your Kryptonite...unless you're Superman, then Kryptonite is your Kryptonite. Tears are just an unfortunate low blow.

So maybe you hurt their feelings and made them cry. Maybe whatever's gotten them all worked up is outside your control. Whatever the case may be, it's your job to comfort them, because the waterworks are turned on.

...stand there awkwardly until you can't bear it and have to try and make them feel better, just as awkwardly? That sounds about right.

[ This is a whole thing. Her tears turn into gems that underworld types vie for, since they bring billions on the black market. IDK, anime shit. She's tortured in-canon to produce the gems; needless to say, crying is...complicated for her.

Open to gen, shipping, random first encounters, negative CR, anything you can cook up and send my way. ]

(( Heeeey! I've got two thoughts-

Idea one: Someone makes Yukina cry for the gems and Piccolo gets to have a 'How dare you hurt my ~~Bulma~~ Yukina' moment.

Idea two: On the lighter side, something minor makes her sad in his presence (like, IDK, a puppy with a hurt paw or a favourite patch of flowers gets bulldozed) and Piccolo has to try something cute to cheer her up.

Either of those appeal? ))

[ info + permissions. she'd probably be the crying one! she can cry on command, if that's something you wanna play with. otherwise, very harsh comments or admonishment can make her tear up easily. please come comfort her! ]

((Maya is an immortal person... she has a lot of years under her belt that help her keep from crying.

But that doesn't mean she won't!

She is likely to awkwardly be there for you as you process whatever grief is hitting you, as well.))
