1. Bubble Bath ;
Here, the characters are sharing a humongous bubble bath with all the froth they can handle. The scent is delicious, the water is warm—go on, enjoy yourselves!
2. Shower ;
Perhaps not as fun as a bubble bath, but hey, at least it's built to accommodate two. Don’t slip!
3. Hot Tub ;
A whirlpool of warmth and—mm. Don't mind me. I'll just be sinking in.
4. Hot Springs ;
An outdoors bath is good, too, right? Or maybe this is part of a hotel. Either way, it sure is steamy.
5. Decadent Bath ;
There could be bubbles here, or maybe just those wonderful smelling oils and salts. Aww, yeah. This bath probably cost a small fortune, so you should enjoy it while it lasts.
6. Lake ;
In case the hot springs weren't rugged enough for you, here's an actual lake, complete with waterfall for all your rinsing pleasures.
[Shadowed by the shielding burgundy curtain of his hair, the General's face lit up into a toothy grin at the sight of his unexpected company.]
I didn't know about this place until about 30 minutes ago... But now I'm so very glad that I found it.
[Cross let his gaze travel up the blonde's petite form from feet to face, admittedly lingering a little along the way-- But surely he couldn't be blamed for that. He might be a scientist, but he was also a man, after all, and Elena was a treat to behold even wrapped in that suit she always wore. The towel only made things that much nicer. But still, manners were manners, and a gentleman doesn't ogle. Meeting her eyes promptly, he inclined his head in a deep, slow nod of greeting.]
It's been a long time, Elena... By all means, don't let me deter you if you had your hopes set on a soak. There's room aplenty.
[Raising the hand that still held his wine with the easy grip of long familiarity, he casually withdrew the other-- Leaving his Innocence still tucked safely away. There was definitely no need to draw Judgment on Elena, of all people.]
And wine aplenty as well, of course, unless you object to sharing a bottle with a handsome man while you relax.
["Well, now" indeed. This was a pleasant surprise, coming across the General. It had been some time since they last saw each other and, having been reminded of their previous conversations, became quite aware of just how much she had missed his company.]
It is pretty well hidden, I'll admit. Hence why it is one of my favorite secrets - the lack of knowledge of it. Though I'm more than happy to share it.
[Strides, shortened by the small amount of protection her towel provided, brought her closer to the water's edge, stopping just beyond arm's reach. Fingers lifted from their placement on her bag's strap, pushing several blonde strands behind her ear, a smile pulling at the corners of her mouth.]
Far too long, General Cross. Though you wound me - thinking that I would pass up an opportunity to have you all to myself.
[Lowering her bag to the ground, eyes caught the movement of his hand away from the pile of clothes, mouth quirking momentarily in a larger, amused grin before settling back into a more comfortable smile. Kneeling, hands dug around the bag before producing her own bottle of scotch.]
And in case we run out, I do have something a touch stronger. [Placing the bottle down, she turned, stopping at the water's edge. Fingers held the hem of the towel in contemplative hesitation before the article was sent fluttering to partially drape over the open bag, slipping into the warm water beside him.] I don't think I could have thought of a better way to end a week than this. A good location, good wine, and excellent company.
Scotch, indeed? Ah, Elena... I'd almost forgotten just what a remarkable woman you were.
[The redhead smirked ever so slightly, rather deliberately keeping his gaze trained on the bottle the curvaceous young Turk had produced rather than on the figure she had bared upon letting that scrap of towel fall. When she dropped into the water, he gave a soft sigh, almost of relief, training his eye back on hers once more.]
You're right about all three, of course... Trust a hot spring to make a man's deepest wishes come true, hm?
[He poured a glass for her without any fuss, offering it up-- Though naturally, he didn't move any closer to do so. If Elena wanted that fine red wine, she'd need to scoot a little closer to accept it.]
I couldn't have imagine more perfect company if I'd been paid... So you can rest assured, my pet, you'll have me all to yourself for as long as you'd like.
