His coat remains on however, and his cane leans beside him. There's a coffee pot already half-empty and a newspaper laid out in front of him. The story he's reading isn't a crime he's committed, but he enjoys solving a good mystery. Where he's situated his back is to the wall and he has a good vantage point of the space and window, discreetly taking them in as well in between the paper and sips from his mug.

He isn't one to be idle, but desperate times call for a caffeine refuel, and at least the space isn't crowded. When a waitstaff member walks by they brush against his hat, causing it to fall. Kaz's gloved hand quickly and deftly darts out to catch it before it hits the ground, waving off an apology with a simple head shake to show it's fine. He's not going to waste words on it, he just sets his hat back down on the table.]

He's added a generous amount of creamer an sugar to it already, but now stirs more sugar, pours more creamer, until the liquid has risen to the rim. It's overfull, and the slightest vibration is enough to cause it the coffee to start slipping over the edge and onto the table.

Gotta pay attention when you're adding your coffee condiments. ]
