HOW TO PLAY ‣ Either in your subject line or comment body, your character spills their heart out: a full-on admission of love. ‣ Other characters react as if they're the target of the confession. ‣ What's their answer? We all want to see this play out. (Remember, "no" is an answer.)
[drops by to visit you in the middle of the night]
...You're alone? Good [side-eyes...nervously...]
I want to devour your heart.
[Right maybe he should jump out the window just about right now to flee. He'll be fine. He's talented at jumping remember? Comes with the territory as a dragoon
Or stay longer to explain this confession thing]
Okay I have to because this is too funny -- Endwalker Spoilers
Well, she was standing at the window in that inn's robe, also known as whatever excuse for night clothing she had that time. She was tired, having been woken from the sudden entrance her fellow... Well, former Scion, so treasure-hunting partner? And her hair was a puffed up mess from her having undone its tie and whatever movement it had gone through during her too short slumber. So she's awake in the middle of the night for...
"... What?"
There was a mix of exhaustion and disbelief. Either Estinien possibly had too much wine or ale or something like that, he was possessed (she'd just try to shut down the thought that her "best friend" had come back from the dead to pull this stunt), or this was the most bizarre dream she'd ever had. Regardless, Adela was way too tired for this.
> Estinien, what is this about? >>> Can it wait? > Are you confessing to something?
"Can you devour it tomorrow? I would kind of like it where it is for the night."

[There are things which should be normal and consider to be the way things are supposed to be. Dragoons jump, people bleed and majority of people are asleep at night.
To have Estinien, the Estinien pop in randomly via window AT night was something that went against the natural order.
Leanne was in her night clothes, just about to finally go to sleep when he popped in.]
... What?...
[Before he could make his escape, she hurries over to latch onto whatever limb she can.]
Why do you want to eat my heart? Has another dragon possessed you?
The man's eyes, expression, and calm posture shows he is quite normal and clearly not possessed. It's not hard to see a thin light of orange in the night sky threaten to warn them that sleep won't come easy in an hour. The orange light heralds the coming of the Final Days and some maniac former despot is still out there, waiting longingly for a reunion long denied.
"I just thought you should know. It's coming from me, not the dragon. That was it." He did had a drink of ale but it's for calming the nerves for the long fight of horror to come.
"You needed your rest. But do not sleep for long. We're going to need your strength. Right then." He's just going to mosey over to the window, one foot on the fence and ready to jump out.
"You also have my lance and it's an honor to fight by your side on the frontline."
Small smile to his beloved heroine. "Until the morrow then."
The window is open. It's an acceptable entryway. The man is talented jumping from the backs of monsters and from the rooftops to rooftop, so he landed without issues. It's natural because dragoons are talented jumpers for combat. Trained all of their lives to master the skill.
The man's eyes, expression, and calm posture shows he is quite normal and clearly not possessed.
