who's on your to-do list? a meme for talking about all the people you wish you could bang...   Who does your character want to get it in with? We're talking celebrity crushes, fictional characters, the Yellow Power Ranger, people that are way out of their league, office mates who don't even know they exist, exes who they can't stop thinking about, the weather lady on Channel 4, hot people who've they've only had in dreams, people that they'd LOVE to have in reality if they could... Well? List 'em!    how to play 1. Create a top-level with a list of your character's current Bangable Bucket List™ — a list of people they'd tap if they could! For a softer option, maybe this could be a list of people to kiss, or just a list of people they'd like to meet one day. And for the more stubborn characters, let's say some forced honesty is in place here. Blank top-levels will be deleted! 2. Tag around and judge each other's lists. Britney Spears is a good choice, but Jennifer Love Hewitt is dating yourself a bit. Plus, there's always the off chance that your character will see themselves on someone else's list! How exciting! 3. Bonus bragging rights for those who've tackled someone on your list and has stories to tell about it (but not THAT many bonus points, because it's rude to kiss and tell!)

[Though he’s trying to be discreet Paul is blushing as he reads the sign. Hard.]

[ Lucky for us, Carrie notices, because she hit hyper-awareness when this subject came up. His reaction shakes her. ]

What's wrong? What is it?

[Paul gives a nervous gulp when he sees her reaction, but decides to be brave.]

I…I didn’t know you found me attractive, Carrie. Thank you. I feel the same way.

[ How did he—? Suspicion washes over her, the old guard of self-preservation ringing every alarm bell she has. He's lying. This is all a joke, a trap, somebody put him up to it, they're about to jump out and sneer at her for even hoping. ]

[ Sorry, Paul. She's that damaged. ]

Well, there are a couple reasons.

First off, you’ve been good to me, and I’ve enjoyed spending time with you. I’m…rather sheltered. You’ve taught me things in our time together. We’ve helped each other.

Secondly, my family isn’t in the business of making promises or repaying debts we don’t keep.

[ In this fragile moment, Carrie wants to touch Paul more than anyone she can remember. ]

You don't owe me anything. [ Her sweater sleeves shroud her hands as she holds them tight in front of her; her fingers can't be free or be trusted. ] Besides, you're [ You. ] the kind of boy who could go with any girl you wanted. They'd be less sheltered than both of us.

[It's surprising, sure, but only because she's always surprised to learn that anyone might be interested. If her face is doing its best impression of the hair tie she'd decided to wear today, well... that's fine. This is fine.]

[ Chrissy's looking her way. Generally, that'd be the kind of opportunity Carrie would snatch out of time and lock into her collection to replay when her tiny world gets darker, but...either the blush flowering at Chrissy's cheeks or the focus of her gaze has Carrie tussled. ]

...why are you staring at me like that?

[She realizes a little too late that she's just kind of staring and not saying anything. Chrissy shoots Carrie a sheepish smile and gestures to the sign behind her.]

I'm really flattered. And I... feel the same.

[prayercloset]

[ -! Thankfully for the structural integrity of our surroundings, Carrie's too caught up in the I feel the same bit for her powers to rip through the surface and destroy what embarrasses her. ]

But we're both girls. [ Brilliant observation. A+s all around. ] We're not supposed to.

[ This can't be real.

It can't can't can't can't she has to be dreaming. ]

We are. [The smile she wears now is kind, and she reaches for Carrie's hands. She makes a fair point, of course, but Chrissy is just a little tired of being told what she isn't supposed to do.] Who says we're not supposed to?

[She knows the answer to that, but the point she's trying to make here is that none of those people appear to be around right now.]

At the mention of Thor, however, Mantis wrinkles her nose, screwing her whole face into a less-than-thrilled impression. ]

He grins at the way her expression changes, and laughs at the conclusion she draws.] Good. I'm tired of being his rival in everything.

I can't argue with your choices, though. Do you have a thing for angry younger siblings? You've got two out of three on there.

[ Open mouth, close mouth. Huh. H uuuh?

Loki, she feels seen. She's not mad about it, though. ]

Actually, I've never considered that. [ Two's a coincidence. Three's a pattern. Better watch out for any other wayward last-borns. ] I'm an older sister. [ A younger one, too, for what it's worth. ] Do you think that means anything?

[He thought he was just being funny, but the way she considers the question makes his expression gentle a little. Hmm.]

I'm not a psychologist, and even if I were I think you're a little too complex to psychoanalyze in such quick and easy terms. It might mean something, yes. Some way to heal the family that was your birthright, that you were never permitted to have, perhaps. I think only you can decide whether that theory holds any water.

Or maybe you're one of the angry siblings, yourself.

Not anymore. [ For a while, she'd been angry at Ego for what he'd done to her and to her mother both, a slow-burning anger that must have ignited in her gut on and off for years. Telling Peter doused that feeling.

A chance to mull over Loki's theory taken, she shakes her head. ] No. I think I just like you and Nebula because you two have faces I’d want to kiss the most.

[ Fam, it ain’t that deep. ]

I'm happy for you. [He smiles, and there's sadness in it, because he hasn't been able to shake his own rage yet. But he means it.

By contrast, her comment about him and Nebula makes him chuckle.] Ahh, fair enough. I like her because she looks like she could bite me in two and spit out my spine. Metaphorically speaking, I mean.

I suppose I like dangerous women.

Literally speaking. [ Hey, you, don't sell her other babe short. Nebula can and would obliterate a man with her front teeth without even needing a dentist appointment afterward. She's That Girl.

Despite his misstep, Mantis pets him on the elbow. Hints of sadness pull those responses from her.

Anyway: ] It's fine to have a type, even if that type is women who could kill you.

[ Notice how she doesn't ask if that category includes her. She rests assured it does. ]
