[Should Suzaku have hung up so much mistletoe? Probably not. He can always blame Milly anyway since this holiday party was her idea anyway.
Does he regret hanging so much? Definitely not. Not when it gives him an excuse to keep kissing Euphie as they walk hand-in-hand around the Ashford campus.]
Huh, more mistletoe. I wonder how that got there... [He asks, as if she doesn't already know the answer.]

(The night had started off without a hitch, a night of merrymaking and a reprieve in the case of the hero of the day. Link had done plenty good, as tiring as it all had been even as he sits quietly with others coming to speak with him often enough; this wintery evening was nothing he minded as vague yet fractured memories hover about on just what he often times he dealt with during parties. Before he was simply silent and at Zelda's side, not a word given and not a fight started whenever he was performing his duties as her guard though he seems to have eased more into his new personality.
How he should have been, even, no matter how serious and fierce he is.
He isn't necessarily chatty by much as of right now, more lost in thought, with him leaning back against the wall and quietly watching as the guests of this party began to disperse gradually. Given the time he hadn't been too surprised though he won't dare bring it up out loud once Link moves to head toward another room only to blink after noticing something from the door way. He can't move, above him being a sprig of mistletoe, enough to give him some manner of alarm knowing that it was seemingly enchanted to stop those who come beneath it.
Enough he hadn't realized in his distraction that it would seem the goddess and the gods themselves has a sense of humor at the sound of a familiar voice since admittedly there was one person he wanted to see and that was....) Zelda, wait the mistletoe isββ.... (Too late, it seems as he realizes that it would now be them trapped in this tradition from hell as some would dub it. Or in his case, maybe a cruel joke played upon them knowing how often he would lose himself in looking upon her.
How he'd even endlessly imagine just what could have been were he able to tell her, were he able to say a word about that which stays deep in his heart. He only looks apologetic for not warning her in time more than them being trapped there with a small inkling on what might free them given the mistletoe's tradition was simple enough. The question is, could he do it without becoming a mess? He has to kiss her. A line would be crossed and he has to kiss her without knowing if she'd want that.)

what do you mean, they can't live together and dance around feelings forever?
dance around their feelings as they both get trapped beneath here then end up near dying by kiss
it's less embarrassing to starve to death than to admit that they want to kiss each other, yep
as they feel the urge to scream internally with each passing second
Nanoha Takamachi | Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha | OTA (F/F pref)
[Hayate's humming cheerfully as she finishes putting up decorations, Santa hat in place on her head, clearly enjoying herself to the hilt.]
Just about done. You good, Nano-
[She's just stepping past Nanoha to grab a few last things when suddenly she finds herself unable to move any further, almost jerked back towards her friend.]
Ha?

[This is why you don't tell Kano to decorate the grotto. She'll come back with cursed objects. Or in this case, weird things that washed away from somewhere, one of which is a mistletoe sprig she's just tied over the door.
And now she can't seem to leave. Uh.]
Fweh?
