THE FLOWER MEME

your character is walking through a strange garden for some reason - don't the flowers smell lovely? or maybe they don't. strangely enough, whether you mean for them to or not, these flowers and plants seem to have something strange about them...something that's affecting you.

leave a comment with your character's name and canon, as well as any preferences you may or may not have.
repliers roll the RNG from 1-20, or pick a number below to decide how your character has been affected by the flowers! whether they are still at the garden, or whether the effects of the flowers have lasted on them throughout their day are up to you.
whether both the tagger and the tag-ee would both like to roll is up to you both as well.

⑼ Cyclamen (Resignation; goodbye) ~it's finally time for goodbye. you've known it for a while now, and you're finally going to say it.

⑽ Edelweiss (Daring) ~you're feeling daring today-- maybe you'll do a bit of singing, or finally confess? the possibilities are endless.

⑾ Ice Plant (Your looks freeze me) ~whoever this person is, they're making you tongue-tied and nervous. it's hard to express how you really feel.

⑿ Azalea (Fragile passion) ~you want them. but you also want to be careful- treating them like glass is on your mind.

⒅ Oleander (Caution; beware) ~you're feeling a little...dangerous today. people would do well to stay away-- or maybe they'd like a little danger? either way you're not to eager to let them go any time soon.

⒆ Dandelion (Wishes come true) ~how'd this little weed get in here? it's nice to see something have such a will to live, even in the cracks of the cobblestone...maybe it'll share its good luck with you? you can have anything you'd like today! you can consider this the wild card option as well to pick anything you'd like from the list (or anything not on the list!).

⒇ Wait what? (???) ~did that plant...move? it seems pretty affectionate...

[She blinks at him for a moment, but the smile comes quickly enough.] Always...

[A little nervous tweak to that smile but then it softens to fondness, and he lightly tugs her along.

Reaching the center of the path he glances around, then stops Fluttershy in front of him, grabbing her hands.]

It's pretty here, isn't it?

[She nods, squeezing his hands gently as she looks around. There's an eager look to her smile.]

It's beautiful...

Yeah... [Looking at her, he released one hand to stroke her cheek, tucking a little hair behind her ear. Funny, staring into her eyes like this, all that nervousness was gone. Dried up, replaced by nothing but a rush of love for her.]

Not as much as you.

[She blushed, glancing away even as she reached up to hold his hand against her cheek.]

[He smiled, shifting his fingers so they rubbed against her hand. He hesitated, not out of nervousness this time, but choosing the right words.

A glance downward, to the slight downward curve of her midsection. It had been surprising news but in the end, welcome news, and had gone a long way toward his decision. Of course there were actions that had been done beforehand that would equal this idea to some, but it was time to make it official official.

Hopefully.

Leaning forward, he pressed into a gentle, loving kiss, as his hand strayed down to her arm and lightly took hold of her hand, his other hand reaching into his pocket. When the kiss pulled away she might find a little thing tucked into the curve of her palm, a rounded off little box.]

[She blinked her eyes open, which had closed instinctively when he first kissed her, and looked at her hand as her fingers uncurled from around the box.

Then her eyes widened, looking up at him.]

[He smiles, gesturing a little with one hand, a silent "Open it."]

[Her hands are shaking a little as she slowly, carefully opens the box. Then her free hand covers her mouth, stifling a gasp as the sun reflects of the gem set in the ring.]

Chris...!

[He cups his hands under hers, helping to steady her. There's a slight shakiness to his smile, a little bubble of resurgence of nervousness, but it does little to dull everything else.]

Will you...?

[She smiles brightly, even as tears fill her eyes, and she holds the box tightly as she nods.]

Y-Yes...Yes, of course I will...!

[Utter delight fulls his features and he releases her to hug her warmly, gladly, even his tail coming about to encircle her form.]

[Her body is still shaking - from nerves, excitement, what have you - as she returns the embrace, holding on to him.]

[He nuzzles her cheek, rubbing the back of her head and squeezing her tightly. Then, not without a pang of regret, he steps back a bit from the hug.]

Can I put it on?

[Swallowing, trying to calm herself down but really unable - or even unwilling - to, she nods, the motion shaking loose some of the building happy tears and letting them slip down her cheeks.]

[He smiles at her, then takes the ring from the ring box. Turning it in his hands, he then slipped it onto her finger.

Lifting her hand to his face he kissed the ring, then her lips.]

[There's a soft noise as she returns the kiss, leaning into him as she suddenly felt weak in the knees.]

[He wrapped one arm around her, holding her hand with his other, his thumb affectionately stroking her ring finger as he held the kiss.]

[After a long moment of letting the kiss linger, she slowly pulls away to take a shaky breath. Looking up at him, she gives him a tender smile.]

I love you...

[He smiles, resting his forehead against hers.]

I love you too.
