[ while wriothesley had always been the type to turn down any and all official invitations to overworld events, even he's not spared this time as fontaine celebrates the yearly iridescence tour. lady furina's insistence on having all title-bearers attend and entertain foreign dignitaries means he can't fall back on the excuse of his usual duties to skip the kick-off soirée. with this year's tour deemed different from usual—as the organization has opened itself up collaborations with other nations—he puts on a well-mannered and polish front.

even if it means dancing with a few vips and engaging in more idle chit-chat than he'd like to. after carefully dodging miss charlotte's cameras and other reporters, wriothesley quietly steps away from the spotlight once he feels the proper obligations have been met.

although, that doesn't stop the random invitations to dance. after carefully watching from a distance and waiting until clorinde finishes entertaining her own list of guests, wriothesley casually makes his way over to the champion duelist and offers a hand. ]

[ They hadn't ever been able to do things like this, before V had disappeared into Mikoshi and it had taken two long years to get her out again. The rules of a fixer as secretive as Hands was didn't need to make sense to anybody but himself, but since he's now on Arasaka's payroll - part of the deal for getting V back - things have changed.

Now it's not particularly strange for them to be out together, especially when it looks like they're having a meeting over food. He's her handler, responsible for overseeing her return to form so she can be the valuable asset that Arasaka want her to be.

The restaurant he's picked for this particular meeting is nice. The kind of place where you have to be somebody - or know somebody - to get in. It's exclusive and, because of that, they're afforded far more privacy than they usually would be.

He's been at the office all day and so he arranges a car to bring V from whichever training facility she's at today. Tapping away at a tablet while he waits in their private booth, his brow is furrowed as he concentrates on the screen. ]
