What is a Pokemon? Are they some sort of new species of demon?

Some not so unlike that, I suppose. Much easier to summon, though, all things considered.

It's just a little game, something that helps me get my steps in sometimes. They're not real, mind you. But it's a very extensive little universe, full of creatures that I'm sure you too would find extremely recognizable to true life.

If exercise is involved, it sounds like some sort of scavenger hunt where these creatures are placed all over the playing field and you have to catch them. Interesting.

They are cute. Papa Nihil's feels extremely accurate.

The version I use, yes. Although there are more sedentary editions as well. Our boy plays those, sometimes.

It's called a Go-Goat. Our cultural influence, I suppose you could say.

Does Copia like football as well?

He isn't very sporty, to be honest. His skills are much more in line with dance and gymnastics.

He has. It was such a small time for us, I know, but here we are.

That is appropriate for the face of the Ghost project.

Luka's partner is a Crobat from a line of Zu-Gol-and Cro-bats he's been breeding for generations. This generation's star is 32, or Thirsty, a highly poisonous Crobat who is a big, nosy, greedy sweetheart around humans and an absolute terror around other pokes. Does not play well with others, but is a huge ham and wants all the attention from human. Thirsty likes climbing her enormous father/trainer and shoving her face into his pockets for treats.

The rest of the team includes:

1. A Cacturne from a patch in a remote part of the desert that turned cannibal.

2. An Espeon from a traveling circus who belonged to a mentalist who later shot himself and left a note that he was only following what the poke was telling him to do

and 3. A Kabuto Luka trained for from a professor in Kanto, the large ancient, reanimated bug loves blue raspberry shave ice.

Killing lots of people means that you get lots of sources for your ghost Pokemon.]

[Spinda - A representation of Adorabbit, because rabbit, and also just how BIZARRE it is. She'd think it's ugly at first, then think it's very cute and get attached to it.
Marowak - Would gravitate to her as a Cubone as it would feel a kinship with her re: the loss of their parents. It'd specifically be an Alolan Marowak because of its ghost typing, and how she deals with the dead a lot in her life. Also it's good at dancing and that's a part of her life too.
Luxray - Instant get for the colors. It's basically her color palette.
Urshifu - Urshifu evolves by learning the ways of fighting, and a big part of Mizuki being who she is today is because she was trained in learning how to fight from Date. Choosing the water variant because of her distant connection to it.
Duraludon - Most people who encounter Duraludon underestimate it because of its looks and typing, often assuming it's heavy and slow or, judging by its steel typing, that it's weak to fire. In reality, it's light and quick, and is resistant to fire. Similarly, people underestimate Mizuki because she's petite, but is incredibly strong and skilled.
Rotom - Aiba. Shiny because Aiba is special.]
