Mutual dreaming is the claim that two or more people can literally share the same dream. Is it possible? Sure! Anything is possible in the dreamscape! The best part? When you wake up, you're both able to reminisce about it!

...Unless it's a nightmare, then maybe you don't want talk about it. Or maybe it's one of those dreams where you're naked in front of the entire school, and your crush just so happens to be the one sharing this dream with you. Because if that's the case, it might be time to hide forever.

And God help you both if it's a steamy one.

How to Play

He wasn't sure why he'd signed up, exactly, as a cohort for a colleague's study out at U Hawkins Community College. (Go Fighting Hawks! so original). Maybe it was the five bucks and free lunch. Maybe it was the chance to call Dr. Derpins an idiot to his face at their thirty year high school reunion.

Maybe it was a chance to further his own power. After all, he knew perfectly well that the occult was only mostly nonsense. Ghosts, for example? Totally real.

But sharing dreams? Pharmacological breakthroughs or no, that had to be silliest rainbow connection crap he'd ever heard--and he'd gone into children's entertainment.

Still, as they signed their waivers and got into their paper pajamas, as they all dutifully took their awful blue drink and counted backward from twenty, he found himself--drifting.

Drifting. Down, down, irreversible.

[Dream exploring is what Mizuki does. As an ABIS agent, her whole thing is diving into the dreams of suspects and seeing what they're trying to hide.

Maybe that's why her own dream feels so real right now, why she's in complete control of her thoughts and actions. If this wasn't so whimsical, she'd think this was just another day in the life of her.

But no. For one, she's trapped in a bird cage. She's surrounded by a forest, except the trees aren't... well, trees, but are horses from a carousel, except covered in blood. Yeesh. Looks like that's one trauma she'll never be over. Off to the side is what looks like a kiddie ride in the shape of a panda, and her Adorabbit doll sits on top. Though it looks like it's alive, kicking its little feet as the ride slowly rocks forward and back.]

[Though she calls out to him, he makes no indication that he heard her. She decides to keep looking around instead.

Through a clearing in the "trees" is a trail of magazines. Upon closer inspection, the magazines are... porno mags?!

Ugh. Mizuki wants to badly to just burn them all, and so she gives the cage a mighty PUNCH!

Her entire body wobbles like a struck cymbal thanks to the force of it, yet the cage doesn't even budge. At the very least, since this is a dream, she can't feel any pain, so she just rubs her fist and squints at the bars around her.]
