[After certain things occurred in Inaba, the barrier between the world of Cramea and Earth had opened up - permanently. As a result, even Rowenans like himself were eager to see a world in which they had only heard bits and pieces about over the course of several hundred years.

[Crameans like himself were the result of animals directly evolving to have human-like features... and the ability to understand any human language. Fey magic allowed them to communicate and be understood in turn, despite the various languages spoken by humans.
