[ He'd lost track of how much time had passed since he'd last seen her, their previous encounter certainly one that would stand out in his ancient memory; for all that she'd driven him to a point of rage and bloodlust that very, very few had ever managed to achieve in all the ages he'd spent walking the world.

Given her recent absence, part of him assumed she stayed away from his doorstep either out of reluctance, spite, or perhaps simply being busy attempting to rid London of his kind. Either way, tonight he intended to make an appearance at a gala being held not too far from where he typically prowled at night in search of those to feed on. Perhaps the gala attendees would provide him entertainment on top of satiation for his thirst. It was a fun game of pursuit - charming a random individual into a secluded corner for what they assumed would simply be an illicit tryst, only to find out he had much more in mind, any by then it would be too late for them to protest.

He was dressed the part - a black suit with clean, tailored lines and immaculate fabrics; and upon entering the event there were no faces he recognized immediately. Which was convenient, as it meant he didn't have to pretend to be the polite and meek Dr. Alexander Sweet; he could pick any name at random and assume any false identity he chose. What delightful freedom.

As he gazes around the ornate setting, he's quite pleased when his eyes catch a familiar form. Oh and she's dressed stunningly at that, he's not surprised. Without a moment's hesitation, he strides across the ballroom floor to where she's standing, her back toward him; and places a hand on the small of her back once he approaches. ]

How delightful to find you here, Integra. [ He dips in close to the back of her neck as he speaks in low, measured tones; a wicked sort of familiarity in his voice when he speaks her name. To any onlookers, it would appear they were well acquainted; as his proximity is hardly one that a stranger would presume. ]
