( One thing is for damn well sure: this party is not Eddie's doing. But he is in attendance for less than legal purposes, so the moment he hears someone warn about the sighting of a cop car, Eddie's blood goes cold. Usually, he's packed up and out of here before the party gets out of hand enough for this to become his problem.

But, then again, the cops of Hawkins have always had it out for him, so really, he should have expected trouble sooner or later. If not while the party is getting busted, then on his drive back to Forest Hills, for sure.

He tries to grab his generous income for the evening and stash it, as well as his lunchbox, somewhere discreet enough that it might escape Hopper's eye as he's breaking up the party. Still, he just has this nagging feeling that Hopper is about to make his life hell. )

[ Realistically she'd be cuddled up with her girlfriend in vibey silence, but I'm not NPCing Sam Fraser, so let's say she's, uh, not wallflowering, just deliberately not interacting with people she doesn't know and keeping a close eye on the nearest egress in case the cops get called. Because this is definitely not her house! Whether she's happy about being here or not, she's nursing a shitty beer with one hand and tapping out drumbeats to songs she knows (on the least sticky surface she can find) with the other. She can and will dance, but without getting dragged onto the floor by a friend, that's only happening after, like, the third shitty beer.

She's not in charge of the music, even though she would like to be, because she'd bring the entire mood down, but the power of this movie series' stupid diegetic needledrops compels me to include some shit anyway! ]
