It's that time again. For supernatural reasons that mere mortals could not comprehend, you and someone else are compelled to play this strange game of chicken, where there can only be one victor. You can be trapped, or just doing it as a friendly yet weird gesture! So don't be shy, this might even be the day you get your first kiss, you loser!

[ After a few more silly events, Joonghyuk's trust issues deepened and every announcement was met with a frown, even if it seemed fairly harmless at a first glance. The thing is, they rarely were informed about everything they might find while exploring, so these announcements aren't reliable in the first place. Not when they conveniently omit information such as plants that can immobilize you, monsters that can only be beaten using certain weapons that look ridiculous, and so on.

It makes Joonghyuk wonder whether the entity behind this whole farce is running out of ideas when the next event is basically monster hunting within a time limit. Honestly, he finally feels like he's in his element and the only downside is the loot.

For every monster slain, they can get 1~3 box of pocky. The flavors are randomized. There's no exchange shop or anything, so there's no other purpose for these snacks than the most obvious one, namely eating them. ]

Lapis. [ He nods. ] My inventory is full.

[ A very original greeting, that's for sure. Instead of explaining further, he just hands her down x99 Pocky. What Joonghyuk didn't expect, however, is the ringing sound that foreshadows a special quest. Apparently, giving someone the pocky box item unlocks a simple yet mysterious mission.

[Commercial job? No problem! Whether it's a year-long contract or a one-time thing, Hiyori has lots of experience filming those. Beverage ads, clothing ads, cosmetics, even new phone apps—you name it, he's (probably) ready to shill it! And now, you can add "sugary snack food" to the list of things that he's been called upon to advertise, using his good looks and dazzling charisma.

Ah, but this time's a bit different. This time it's not just him, but him and Jun-kun together. Which isn't really a surprise—what company wouldn't want to have Eve promote their products? They're one half of Eden, and quite the popular unit in their own right! He may have taken on more solo advertising work thus far, but when Ibara announced that Jun would be joining him, he wasn't too thrown off. He just reminded Jun-kun to practice his best camera-ready smile and prepared to film a commercial with his partner.

Still... when it comes to candy advertisements, this isn't quite what he pictured.

The deal was that they'd make one TV ad, then one magazine ad, and first comes the magazine. This naturally entails a photoshoot where they'll be dressed in cute clothes and enjoying the products. No surprises there. But when it comes to "enjoying the products," he hadn't been expecting that kind of "enjoyment."

He and Jun are roughly 20 centimeters apart, approximately the length of one Pocky stick. As per usual with their partnership, Hiyori gets the good side of things—in this case, the side covered in chocolate, while the plain breadstick end sits between Jun's lips. And, as per usual, Hiyori's meant to be the "initiator" in this intimate scene, because the person directing the shoot just told him to tip Jun's head more towards the camera. Right, so that's what they want to see.

Well, no matter. He's got no reason to object; it makes perfect sense for Eve to accept this type of work, given what their debut was like. No doubt their fans will be excited.

Reaching for Jun's chin, he tugs him ever-so-slightly closer with two fingers, careful not to let his end of the Pocky stick slip from his mouth. It's impossible to speak like this, which means he won't be talking Jun's ears off for a change! But there's amusement glinting in his eyes, and an upward curve to his lips that suggests he'd probably be teasing his partner if he could talk. Something about Jun-kun just makes it so easy!]
