The Pokémon AU Meme


How it works:
1. Post with your character's name and fandom. (And preferences if you desire.)
2. Feel free to post some set-up for your character in the Pokémon world!
3. If you wish, use the RNG to decide a scenario to play out. If not, just go crazy with the possibilities the Pokémon world has to offer!
4. Have the thread take place in any region you like!
5. Reference Bulbapedia as needed!
6. Have fun and play nice!

Options:
01. Battle!
It's one of the biggest parts of training Pokémon! Maybe you're up against a gym leader, or having a practice battle with a friend, or anywhere in between! It's time to show that you've got what it takes.

02. Traveling!
On the road to Viridian City~. Traveling is less lonely with companions! Whether they're a long-time travel buddy or someone you're just meeting now, at least it's someone.

03. Camp!
Time for you to set up camp! Are you part of a group? Or are you sharing your camp ground with a stranger? Either way, it's probably been a long day... And another one is on tap for tomorrow. So rest up!

04. Contest!
From any part of a contest itself, to preparations, to coordinators sharing tips (or bickering) backstage, there are a lot of possibilities when it comes to a Pokémon contest!

05. Just Arrived!
You just got to town! Maybe you're just passing through, or maybe you're moving in. Either way, it's a good idea to meet someone to show you around, huh?

06. Team [Blank]!
Rocket? Magma? Aqua? Galactic? Plasma? Whoever it is, something's amiss! There are a lot of choices here: Maybe someone's identity as a member of a villainous team is just being revealed, or two teammates are on a mission together, or hanging around the base. Perhaps there's a confrontation between honest trainer and villain, or maybe there's an attempt at recruiting going on, or anything else you can think of!

07. At My Job!
Pokémarts and Pokécenters don't run themselves, you know. For the sake of this meme, maybe more than just Nurse Joys work as nurses, and more than Officer Jennys make up the police force. Whatever it is, you're juts doing your job. Is someone making it difficult for you, or is it an easy day?

08. Breeder!
Breeders bring out the best in their Pokémon in every sense. Whether you're both breeders, or one of you is a curious trainer, it's not a bad idea to gain some knowledge in this field!

09. Wild Beedrill!
Or something, anyway. Maybe you could handle one or two, but a whole swarm? That's a little much! Time to high-tail it out of there!

10. Mystery Dungeon!
In the way of the Mystery Dungeon games, you were once a human in the Pokémon world... But now you're a Pokémon! Time to interact with others of your kind, whether they were also transformed, or have been Pokémon all along! You can follow the concepts of Mystery Dungeon as closely or as loosely as you want! To find out which Pokémon you've become, head back to the RNG and generate a number from 1 to 649, or just take your pick!

11. Wild Card!
Pick anything you want from above, or make up your own scenario!

[Ventus has a pretty sweet get up going for himself now. Breeding wasn't so much of an occupation than it was a...hobby, he supposed. But he was good at it, and it helped to see new pokemon going into good hands, be them friends or people he'd just met.]

It took a long while, and Aqua joined a few other guilds trying to get a feel for the whole business and any tips she could pick up. Sure, some other Pokemon were talking about that Vaporeon who couldn't seem to stay in one spot with a Guild, but she promised Ven that when he was of age, they'd try and go through a dungeon together as a sort of celebration.

She can't let him down now.]
