You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old-fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.)

[True to her word, she shows up to the address he'd sent her a few minutes later, freshly showered and only slightly nervous as she knocks. She'd changed into a brown skirt and a light blue tee, and pulled on a spare cheer sweater as she was heading out the door.]

[The place she arrives at is a slightly run down five story apartment complex and once she's been buzzed in she'll find herself on the third floor, walking down a hallway that has carpets that were probably popular about twenty years ago.

At the end of the hall is Carter's door and when she knocks it opens a few seconds later, revealing Carter in a pair of dark jeans, a tight white T-shirt and a backwards baseball hat. He smiles brightly and opens the door fully.]

Hi! Come on in.

[This is definitely an interesting building. It's not at all like her house, but Chrissy kind of likes it anyway. She doesn't waste any time in walking to the end of the hall toward his door.

Her smile widens when he opens the door, and she takes a moment to look him over before finally meeting his eyes.]

Hi. You look nice. Thank you.

[After seeing the building leading up to his apartment, she's not entirely sure what to expect, but she moves past him and pauses to take a look around.]

Thanks.

[He says and steps aside so she can enter his studio apartment.

Right away she'll notice three things about his place; he favors a Zen type of vibe, all his furniture is second hand, and the whole apartment is kept very clean except for a small area near his bed where his guitar and music sheets sit scattered about.]

[Now that she's actually standing here inside his apartment, she's starting to feel just the slightest bit nervous. It's not that she doesn't rust him so much as that she's never done anything like this before.

But she does trust Carter, and his place looks really nice. It's not the biggest, but it feels welcoming, and that's the most important part. When she does finally enter, she stops again and turns to smile at him.]

[Chrissy isn't the only one feeling a little nervous, it's so much easier for Carter to flirt through text since it hides the fact that he blushes easily.

Luckily if he's taking photos he doesn't have to worry as much about being smooth as he does about taking good photos, because he isn't using this just as an excuse to be around Chrissy. He really does like talking photographs and thinks she would be a good model.]

Uh so, I've got the lighting and stuff set up over here but will need to do a few test shots to make sure.

Just tell me where you want me.

[She sounds a lot more confident than she feels right now, but Chrissy has always been good at faking confidence. It's certainly a lot easier to flirt when she has a screen to hide behind. The fact that she wasn't originally trying to flirt with him is beside the point. But he's easy to talk to, and somehow even easier to flirt with- and Chrissy's not immune to the fact that he's really cute, either.

Sitting around and having her photo taken seems straightforward enough, though, and she's actually looking forward to it.]

[Carter points to a stool that is sitting near a blank wall on one side of the living room/bedroom, there's two lamps nearby that have had their shades removed and a camera tripod.]

Have a seat right there.

[Once she does he moves around her a little, looking at her with a thoughtful look and then shifts the lights a little before snapping a few photos.]

Okay.

[Chrissy is nothing if not good at following directions. With a smile, she crosses the room and takes a seat on the stool. She's not really sure what sort of pose he's hoping for, so she just sits as sill as she can manage.]

[when Carter finally seems happy with the lighting and camera settings his face grows warm and animated, his pale green eyes sparkling excitedly.]

Okay all set.

So for the first couple I'd like you to turn quarter front and look down a little with your face but have your eyes up at the camera.

[She nods and does her best to emulate what he's telling her to do. In the end, it's easier than she'd been imagining.]

Like this?

Yeah just like that, that's great.

[He says and snaps a few pictures.]

Okay hold that position but now cast you eyes down near my feet.

Great!

[A surprise bonus she hadn't even counted on before is the opportunity to watch Carter while he works- at least until he suggest the next pose. Chrissy smiles and does as she's told, though.]

[Carter takes another photo and then mutters to himself a little, tilting and shifting around to try and get the angle he wants. He finally seems to get it and then lowers the camera.]

Was this the outfit you brought for the photos?

[She might not have much of an idea of what he's doing, but it's fun to watch him work. She nods at the question.]

Yep. This is the one. Unless you have something else stashed away somewhere that you think would work better.

[He looks surprised and then blushes, shaking his head.]

Uh no, this is great. You look great.

[Chrissy grins and takes no small amount of glee in the fact that she'd made him blush.]
